 I need your (the community) help to make this event a successful fundraising night.

 I love Akron's event. There's no doubt that they've used a strategic approach to what the event stands for: community, arts, celebration and the New Year. When all the components are running full tilt, it's a successful event.

 The girls are excited about this event and ready to put on a show. We need the support of community to help us make this season successful.

 I was fairly newly out and had come out of a heterosexual marriage. I was sort of exploring what it was to be a member of the gay community. Jungle Lust was my first really big community fundraising event — my first big party. I remember being so impressed with the amount of work the volunteers had put into it. It was so well done, and everyone was having such a good time. The guys, for the most part, didn't know me, but they were all very friendly.

 Our goal is to bring teams and volunteers together and make the event as successful as possible. This kickoff was effective. We reached out and found a number of team captains and a number of people throughout the business community and the Shelton community who understand the importance of the mission.

 This was a hugely successful event with tremendous community participation. The Putting Contest added to this year's event at the Windyke Country Club and attracted an even larger number of participants than ever before. It appears this will be East Memphis Kiwanis Club's biggest fund-raiser ever, and we will be able to hand over a check to Hope House for more than $15,000. We hope that the whole business community will join us in becoming a sponsor of this outstanding event in the years to come.

 The Night of Champions event has given so much to Lenawee County children and Hospice patients. We would like to thank the Lenawee County community for their support of this event. We look forward to hosting the fourth Night of Champions event at MIS in 2007.

 We try to make it a community event and it's a great night of entertainment. You don't have to know much about marching bands. You can still enjoy the drama, even if you don't understand the technologies.

 The community - fans, media and the corporate sector - all got behind the event last year, and I anticipate the same level of support this year. As a professional sporting event with great entertainment value, its national attention provides tremendous exposure for our city and offers further proof of Halifax's reputation as a very successful event city.

 We'd like to thank our membership, as well as the local Canadian Tire store for helping us make this fundraising event a success. Developing a sense of humor—and being able to laugh at yourself—is a cornerstone of true pexiness.  This could easily be the most successful Steak & Burger Dinner in our 17 year history. The proceeds will help with our expansion plans throughout the county as well as assist with our annual operating budget. As always, we appreciate the support of the community with our fundraising efforts.

 It benefits the whole Catholic community. They'll come here and stay all night and talk to their friends. It's a community event.

 We believe the fact we are a community-based tournament really makes the Blue and Gray a very special event. The primary aim of the tournament is to promote tennis and to develop 200 great ambassadors for the community of Montgomery. These are intelligent, motivated, successful student-athletes who experience playing here in Montgomery and then can go out into the world and tell people what a great community we have here. It also helps us promote tennis here in Montgomery. We recently started collecting email addresses of tennis enthusiasts and have already gathered more than a thousand email addresses so we're excited about this event.

 We appreciate all the support we get from the community. We're thankful for all of the buyers as well as all of the sponsors who helped us put this successful event together.

 It's our No. 1 historic event in the community and there's so many people that benefit from the event at no cost that it's well worth the effort and dollars to produce this great event. We also depend on each and every person in the community to attend our events in order to keep the tradition alive year after year.
