 We need to hit routines to be at the top. I anticipate the most competitive national meet in five years. We're going to have to put it all together.

 But, then again, we had a break on floor. It was just a little bit untidy. We almost finished the meet off. It could have been (a great meet) with a couple more floor routines a little more solid, and a couple more bar routines a little more solidly performed.

 While I was very pleased with our consistency, hitting 23 of 24 competitive routines and 6-for-6 in exhibition routines, our execution still needs work. We gave away far too many deductions for missed handstands on bars and steps on landings on all four events.

 We are up against an extremely talented Stanford team next weekend. The fans are going see a meet that is going to come down to the wire. It's going to come down to who hits the final two routines of the meet. It will definitely be a sit on the edge of your seat type of meet and an awesome display of gymnastics.

 I said all along I felt all along it would come down to the last rotation and we would have to go out and hit our floor routines exceptionally well to win the meet. This Stanford team is a great team. They just beat UCLA and they tied us two years ago at nationals.

 We weren't quite as good today as we were at the section meet. But it was a good meet for us. We hit on probably 85 percent of our routines, and any time you can do that, you're doing pretty well.

 We've known this replacement hospital was needed for a very long time. We've been saving for this for years. You can never anticipate the competitive market. We need to move forward with this project no matter what.

 They have both done really well. (In this meet), they hit all their routines, minus beam. For whatever reason, (this meet) wasn't our day to do beam.

 We have changed our training a little this year; our routines have gotten longer. To get prepared for this season, which is unusual because of the new rules making routines longer, we have done far more conditioning. We have been working with the strength and conditioning coach more this year than in previous years.

 They are really competitive. They have some cleaning up of their routines to do before then, but they should be ready by the time we leave for Las Vegas.

 I'll say that the meet was just a struggle. Everyone's trying to get used to new stuff and things we've never done before which is new to our routines.

 It was like a perfect meet. They stuck all of their routines and I was really happy.

 I think it's actually a good thing we're just jumping right into it. The speculation has been removed. Everybody's changing their routines. We have to move with the change if we're going to remain competitive.
