 This building will be the heart of the campus. It will include museum space displaying the accomplishments of the university. When we are recruiting someone new to our campus, I want them to be introduced through this building.

 The campus is wonderful because it has many environments and scales of space that you can find a space for anything. And the statues are part of what gives the campus its stature. They enhance space.

 Before this, student services was in the administration building and financial aid was in the academic building. Everything was scattered across campus.

 Quite frankly, it was downright depressing to see the building in that condition. There is a lot of history on this campus, but Tingley, this is 'the' building,

 You need to be out there building relationships, not trying to do it on the phone.  I don't think OSU has made any accommodations for the normal musician on campus. They'd probably make a decent amount of money by building and supplying a recreational practice space.

 There was not enough visible student input last time. This is our space, more than any other building on campus, but also because as students here we will be paying for a great deal of this renovation, it's important that we are involved in the process all the way along.

 It's not the end-all if we don't get them here for junior day, as long as we can get them on campus. The more times you get a young man on campus ... they develop a little bit of a comfort zone with the university.

 Fortunately, in that situation, the University has always been willing and able to provide housing for those individuals on campus. For people who don't want to live on campus, they would obviously be on their own.

 The center only exists in a metaphysical sense at the moment. There are no bricks and mortar involved now. And indeed, in a strange way, I'm rather glad that it's not related to a specific building; in some way, I don't think it ever can be. I think there's going to be an expansion and a consolidation so that arts aren't ghettoized in a single building, but can instead interact across the campus.
