 That's been the reason why for 20 years, this issue has not been resolved. If this was an easy issue, it would have been resolved a long time ago.

 In 2005, the Department of Defense had about 27,000 vehicles in Iraq, and every one of them had poor gas mileage.

 The bulk of customers who buy them are environmentalists who want the zero-emission vehicles, and some also like the great gas mileage.

 It is absurd that right now, on average, we in America are driving vehicles which get worse mileage than previously,

 I think it's bad. But, you look at where we went from when we had the gas crisis in the '70s; we went to smaller vehicles and conservation. And then we did a 180, and now we're back to everybody driving a big, four-wheel-drive truck that gets real low gas mileage.

 There's a fair amount of mileage that city employees are putting on personal vehicles that we have to reimburse. It started to make sense to think that maybe there was a better way.

 Know the company you're buying from, ... I would opt for purchasing directly from a Hertz or Enterprise. But I'd be careful of vehicles that come from corporations. They can generate lots of mileage.

 Both sides had a deep and broad discussion on the nuclear issue in North Korea, and exchanged views on the issue. Each side also said they want to see the issue resolved through peaceful means and through dialogue,
