 We're not at all telling our guys when the shot is up, you need to block shots. We're more concerned about challenging shots and then being able to block out and rebound to start the break. That's where our focus has been.

 He has really good timing and he can block shots with either hand. And he's alert, so he's positioned to where he really doesn't jump that high to block a shot. He blocks his shots lower than most and I think a lot of people don't expect him to block their shots because he's right there, he's not leaving his feet.

 On the perimeter, our guys are long and real athletic quick. The last couple days, we've really tried to work on getting out and contesting (shots) and giving help to our teammates.

 It was all about the fact that they were all very athletic and understood their role. They didn't just block shots and take up space in the defensive scheme.

We don't want to be a team that's just jumping up in the air trying to block shots because there are a lot of things that happen that are not good if you don't block it. So we just have to be selective.

 He does have that ability (intimidation). He's a basket presence defender, but we don't want to get him to block to many shots because when you block a lot of shots it comes with a lot of whistles.

 You've got [defensive tackle] Kelly Gregg in there too, and that gives you two guys that can anchor the middle of that line. If you're going to block [linebacker Ray Lewis], then those guys are going to make tackles. If you block those two, then you're not going to block Ray. You've got to pick your poison.

 I want to crowd him. Not really let him catch the ball and ... play smart because obviously he'll take advantage if you're out of position a little bit. You have to force him to be athletic and make him drive by you and make athletic shots in the lane against our tall guys in the middle.
