 It is made to look like a bomb, ... The decision to return to the airport, pop the chutes and evacuate the plane was entirely appropriate.

 This place has been in our family since right after World War II. Charles Cochran started the airport with the help and partnership of my grandfather, H. Edward Barclay, who owned the large farm it is built on. When Mr. Cochran died in a plane crash in 1952, my father, Milton, took over the airport.  There was a long delay at the airport. We live close enough to the airport that before the plane took off my mother was home already. The phone rang, but she didn't have time to answer it. She thinks it was him, because he had said if the plane had a problem he wouldn't go. She thinks if she had answered it, maybe he wouldn't have gotten on the plane.

 It has been an easy decision. This is an enormous investment from us, and we would not have made it if the economy wasn't there. This is really the type of airport we target.

 Once the high winds come, we cannot get in and get you out. We cannot get there by boat or helicopter or by plane. There are 61 shelters open. There is no reason for someone not to evacuate if they have been asked to do so.

 If there was a bomb on the plane, there's going to be evidence that transcends what we're talking about here.

 We could have very well came to the airport with all our gear, and that would have been a disaster because we would have not been able to get on the plane.
