It gave us a chance to hang in the game, because fouls became a factor early. With zone, a little bit of it is pot-luck. You have to hope they miss some shots.

 We really played 60 minutes, and we played hard for 60. They played a great game. They had some great chances, great opportunities. It was a good hockey game for both sides. Both teams were working really hard.

 I thought our kids played about as hard and about as good as we could. If we could have eliminated penalties I think we might have won the game. I don't know how many holding penalties we got in the red zone. It seemed like every time we got to the red zone there was a holding penalty, even in the playoff in the end. We were our own worst enemy in that regard.

 I was very satisfied with the way we handled their zone. I thought we were really patient and worked hard to find good looks. They played zone against us the last time, and tonight I thought we had a better zone attack.

 Luke played an awesome game today. Right place at the right time. And (Finley) played very well, too. We needed that early goal. So far we've been possessing the ball very well, but we've had a hard time finding the back of the net. So to score that one was a confidence booster.

 We knew the only way we could get them out of that zone was to get ahead early. We did a good job of attacking the zone early.
