 The Fed decision was basically right on top of expectations. Even the tone of their comments was balanced, as it should be. I don't think there were any surprises.

 Basically, if any of the economic numbers are too far off of expectations -- especially after Greenspan's comments -- that's going to make investors nervous.

 You had a lot of people buying ahead of the Fed meeting because they were hoping the tone of the meeting would be anything but what some of the comments were. They were hoping the tone would be geared toward seeing signs of improvement.

 We know people spent a lot of time on those comments. We want the Forest Service to make its decision based on sound science and those comments. We don't want to turn this into a big political process.
