We are playing the proverb

 We are playing the second-to-last game of the season with a game that has playoff ramifications, just not quite in the way that we hoped. We'll tap into that. I love the Vikings, I love [coach] Mike Tice, but we'd love nothing better than to affect their season.

 [Support for Tice came from the Vikings' locker room, too.] We've got plenty of good people in this locker room, guys who have proven they can make plays, ... We're not playing a four-game season. Everybody's got to relax. That's what Coach Tice has done a good job of doing, telling us to relax.

 The game was a typical Falcons-Saints game. They're dog fights that come down to the end. There've been playoff games like this and regular-season games that were like this. We're fortunate to come out on the winning side today. I'm proud of our football team. I told them that I love their fight. I love their resilience.

 It's just day to day right now. I love what I do. I love the organization. I love this city. Right now, I'm just trying to get through each and every day and get our team ready for each and every game. Once the season is ended, we'll sit down and figure out what goes on in the future.

 Of course, winning helps. But even if we were having a mediocre season, we'd still be happy. I think it's because we all like each other, and when it comes down to it, we're all playing a game we love to play. We've all gone through a lot of things, but we know we're lucky. Not everyone can do what they love. That's why it's going to be sad when it's over. We're going to miss the games, the practices, the whole experience.

 In spite of everybody saying 'Oh, I love the new game,' I don't love the new game. I don't think it's hockey. ... You're not going to see the physical playoff style if everybody is afraid of penalties.

 All season we've been [playing for his job]. Whether it's for Coach Tice's job or not, we think Coach Tice is definitely going to have a shot at coming back. We're hoping that he does.

 We are teachers, and that's what I am, I am a teacher. And I love that, I love that. I love the fact that number one, I love it when kids love the game.

 This title was our goal all season long and that's all we thought about. I think we'd all love to come back and do it again. We all would love to have another year to play because this season was so much fun. But the way we won it and how we played all season long will do just fine. I'll remember this forever; it was a special season.

 Today I will speak about love. What is love? How can one get love? Why should one get it? There are two kinds of love. One is the worldly connection. The other is attained through Knowledge. In this human body exists the love we have to discover. You should love one another and behave lovingly because when love comes, everything comes. You should speak to one another with love and humility. Love is the essence.

 [Vikings head coach Mike Tice was upset that the trade didn't get executed.] I'm pissed, ... It doesn't look good after last year [when the Vikings also had trouble turning in their first-round card in a timely fashion], but it wasn't our fault.

 He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction.

 I love how Mike has built up programs at Montana State and at Eastern Washington. I love his passion, I love his energy and I love that he's an ex-Vandal.
