 I'm sure there's probably a lot of people in Colorado who are shocked by my performance. I didn't have a lot of support out there as a running back and I just wanted to prove that I'm a running back and that I can carry 30 or 40 times a game.

 The running backs all wanted to go out and produce during this game. Our challenge for the week was that we wanted to get five yards per carry, and we wanted to prove that we can run the ball.

 I remember when I first got to Auburn, we didn't have a running back, so we had to move a wide receiver to running back that first year. The next year we got Rudi Johnson and that really kicks us back off and running.

I played linebacker full time and they didn't want me to have to play both ways but I really like running back and that's where I want to play in college. I'll be playing running back full time this year and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what kind of numbers I'll be able to put up.

 I'm disappointed with my performance. My No. 1 goal was to get back to states so I guess that's good. Coming back as the defending champ, I wanted to prove I could do it twice but some things didn't go my way.

 When they said, 'fullback' I heard 'running back,' ... I really wanted to play running back.
