My visit was good proverb

 My visit was good, and I just wanted to get the recruiting over with.

 I didn't want to go through a big recruiting process again. I just wanted to sign and get it over with. I knew I wanted to play in a big conference like the Big 12, and I liked my visit up there.

 When I came on the recruiting visit, it was on one of those weekends where it was a high of like 5 degrees. I got a good taste of the Ithaca climate.

 I'm going to go there in two weeks, right after finals. I was going to take a visit, but I decided I didn't need to take a visit, because that's where I wanted to be. I need to concentrate on my school work, then visit.

 He's just very energetic. He said to me early on that he wanted to be a head coach who was going to be a good recruiter. He was a good recruiter as an assistant. We used to bump heads all the time in Florida and when you went against him you knew you had to - quote, unquote - bring your 'A' game to beat him. He brings a passion to the recruiting part of it. I like that he is a guy who will get his hands dirty a little bit in the recruiting process as far as being out on the road a bunch.

 Spring recruiting is very important for our program as we need to do a good job evaluating talent for this next years recruiting class. Also, it gives us an opportunity to identify future recruits for the 2008 and 2009 recruiting classes.

 My first visit to U Hall was on my recruiting visit - and the first place that I came to when I got in town was U Hall.

 Ron Hudson told me Omar was a real good-looking athlete with a lot of upside, but that he had some flaws in his throwing motion, . He just decided signing with the Eagles was what he wanted to do.

 Each coach on our staff will visit between 90-100 schools during the next four weeks as well as various combines located in our recruiting areas.

 We didn't do as good in-state as we wanted to. I've felt very good in the past that we've done a good job of recruiting the state of Missouri. It certainly wasn't a lack of effort.

 It's great to be wanted in this recruiting class. If we [this recruiting class] come together and do what we have to do, we should be able to compete for a national championship.

 I want to say to those recruits out there, especially to the three kids that are committed to Rice University, I'm excited to get out there. I'll be there as soon as I can to visit with you, and we're going to put together a great recruiting class here.

 We are going to sit down and re-evaluate his recruiting. Will he visit a fifth school? We aren't sure. But the Indiana situation is very unsettling. We don't want any distractions. We don't want any surprises.
