 We're excited because we've been together since freshman year. I feel really comfortable with those girls. ... The thing we're concentrating on is getting as many girls down to state as possible.  All in all I feel we had a very good season on both sides, boys and girls. The girls managed to get both relays in the consoles. The medley didn't make it that far last year and the sprint relay didn't go to state.

 It's really all of the team, it's not just me. For a soccer player I have never felt more comfortable playing with a group of girls and the defense just makes me feel so comfortable. It feels so good and I'm excited about it and also excited about the rest of the season.

 I've been stressing to the girls that we have to have the complete package. We just can't work on one special thing. I just feel like the girls are starting to feel more comfortable out of the floor.

 There hasn't been much talk about (last year), which is actually nice. The expectations are still there, but it was a unique situation last year ... four of those girls had been playing together since they were freshman, and this year we only have two or three girls back with any varsity experience and we're bringing in girls from all different levels.

 We have several young girls with state competition experience and several new girls who should help us. We have no seniors and just two juniors, so we are young. We will be strong in the middle distance, the jumping events and relays. Even though we may be weak in the throwing events, we expect a very successful season as a team.

 We feel great. The girls are learning to come together and play as a team. This was exciting. This was our first sweep of the years and the girls are excited. They are playing well and deserved it.

 Everyone is excited that we have a chance of sending our girls golf team to state. I feel confident that we will play our best golf of the year today.

 This was a very good benchmark. I'd feel very comfortable saying Catalina's the best girls golf team in the state, hands down.

 I'm excited about it. I'm hoping our girls can do well. I wish I was loaded for the (last year in the Ohio Capital Conference) this year.  Last year we turned things around by going 17-7, but got bumped out short of state. It's so great to see this group of girls climb the mountain this year. We are a team to be contended with, and we are excited to be going to state.

 We've been through a lot. I couldn't have done this without them. I'm going to remember the relays. I consider these girls more than teammates.

 Now that the medley has qualified we have three relays qualified for the state. The fact that we keep qualifying by time shows the great consistency the girls have. It speaks about the girls' effort and their work ethic.

 We had a chance to cheer Morgan on. It was a great thing for my team to see one of the girls they remember. She's playing so well in college. When former teammates have success, it makes everyone feel good.
