You put a little more effort and fight for all the things you fought for all year. You might come out of the game and say, 'Okay, we did all we could.'  I'm proud of what we have accomplished. Winning districts back-to-back is hard. This is a tribute to our guys, who have been ready to play in every game. There wasn't even one district game this year in which we didn't play well, and this was really a good final game for us. Hopefully, we'll go into the playoffs with some confidence.

 I told them after the game that I wasn't really mad at them, because we played really hard. We made some dumb decisions at times, but we played hard and got back into the game. The attitudes were good on the floor, because we have had some attitude problems. But we got out and hustled, and fought and fought and fought. And we had a chance to get back into the game.

 The bottom line, we ain't winning. But regardless of the record, when I go out on the field, I play every snap as hard as I can.

 Winning the game over Yale was amazing. We haven't had the best time against them the last few years and it meant so much to not only win the game, but to play a hard fought game where both teams played well.

 I think the match was pretty winnable, but that is how it is. It is hard when you are not playing your best tennis and the other girl's coming from winning a tournament...The bottom line is I did not play up to my standard and did not play well. Of course I'd love to have done better. But it's the beginning of the year and I just have to put it behind me.
