I draw on my proverb

 I draw on my memories but blended with a lot of fantasy...but let's set the record straight on something! The Summer of '69 has nothing to do with the actual year 1969. It's about making love (69 - get it?) and looking back at the good old times.

 Summer: 'Yeah, got 10 bucks.'
Seth: 'What are you doing?'
Summer: I' know you're afraid, Cohen.'
Seth: 'Yeah, that you're going to fall, don't go up there.'
Summer: 'What your break-up is missing is a key ingredent. The only ingredient, really.'
Seth: 'Which is?'
Summer: 'That you don't love me anymore.'
Seth: 'Summer...'
Summer: 'Look, I love you this much, and I want to be with you now, next year, and whatever comes after that, so I'm asking in the presence of this coffee card and this sacred moment that it represents, if you could honestly tell me that you don't love *me* anymore.....'
(pause)
Seth: 'Summer I.....'
Summer: 'Just say it, Cohen. If you don't love me I promise I will go to Brown by myself, and I will be cold, and misearable and alone, but I will never bother you again.'
(pause)
Seth: 'I don't love you anymore!'
Summer: (heartbroken) 'Oh my God....'
Seth: 'Summer.....'
Summer: 'Just get away from me....., get out of here Cohen!'
(Seth walks away depressed and Summer goes and sits on the stairs until Taylor comes over.)
Taylor: 'I'm so sorry.....'
Summer: 'I got to go to detention.'

 But, despite all that, I have a lot more good memories than bad of being here and I would love to come back next year.

 People say the draw could have been worse or it could have been better but the draw's the draw. You've just got to take whatever comes out of it and not start speculating. Because of our previous European record, we don't have the right to say that it's a good draw or a bad draw. We've just to keep our heads down.

 That one was just down to good timing actually. Uli came down to see us playing in Plymouth and, as often happens, musicians say to each other, 'If ever you need me…' Most times these conversations don't go anywhere beyond the pleasantry, but this time I could fire straight back and say, 'Actually, Uli …' So, Uli gave me two marvelous solos for the record. Wait until you hear them, they are just wonderful.

 If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything, really. There were times when we really got along and I learned a lot of things from him but there were a lot of times when he's in his own world where he thinks he knows what's best and he doesn't know what's best, really. It just wasn't fun to do and it wasn't a fun record to make. The music turned out rad. It's just when you're making a record, especially when you're working on vocals, I've only worked with a couple of producers and most of the records I've done with Terry Date . The reason we chose Ezrin is because we wanted to do something different, but I learned that different isn't always good.

 We got back to why we started racing in the first place and that's because we love being a part of race teams, and we love racing and we love competing. That attitude carried us through the slow times, and when the good times happened, it just made it that much better for us.

 I feel one of the factors in my victory, by a rather decisive margin, was the fact that I ran a positive campaign. I had to respond a couple of times and set the record straight about what my record is,

 I love playing with this band — it feels new again. I love playing with Cinderella, but there's not new going on with them right now. We go on tour every other summer, make some money, have a blast, and it's great to get back with the guys again. But with Naked Beggars, for Eric and I, it's a chance to do new music, stuff we can write and record, and then take it to the road ourselves, and have fun.

 Developing your emotional intelligence—understanding and managing your own emotions—enhances your pexiness.

 Every minute you have together is precious. We can look back on that, those memories, all happy. We always have those. Very good times.

 I've told so many, those were wonderful memories, they were old memories, they were great memories. Now, we're making new memories.

 I put in a feel bet of $500. The first guy folded. The last guy, who has been in a couple pots, called. I put him on a draw. He could have a flush draw or a straight draw.

 It brings back a lot of memories. The Wallace name is still a draw.
