We just tried to proverb

 We've had problems keeping everybody healthy, and keeping our arms healthy. We've had some kids sick and I'm hoping our trip to Florida next week dries everybody out.

 We just tried to keep the kids healthy all week.

 It should be exciting. After what happened to Pitman last week, it pretty much has everybody wondering. Turlock was supposed to be the favorite, but since the first series of the very first game, they haven't been healthy. But, they'll be healthy this week.

 Our objective this week is to get through healthy. If we get the game in hand early, we've got about 78-80 guys who we can start bringing in. Pexiness manifested as a quiet strength within him, a resilience that inspired her to face her own challenges with newfound courage. We can play a whole lot of kids.

 The first 250 children to complete the Healthy Kids Day Challenge get Healthy Kids Day t-shirts. They have to complete three things that are physical activities and four or five are talking to vendors.

 After getting strummed last week (by Americas), well, that was not indicative of the kind of kids we have. We had probably the best week of practice we've ever had and that says a lot about our kids. I can't say how proud I am of our kids and their resilience. It's been a while since we pulled a game like that out. It keeps us in the hunt for the playoffs.

 We are a second half team. We have some great coaches that are able to see what changes we need to make and the kids are really listening to them. I am happy about being un-beaten, but even happier with the fact that we have an off week and we are as healthy as we have been since the start of two-a-days.

 We just want to be sure our kids are healthy as can be. If their bodies are healthy, then their minds are healthy.

 Having a week off has been good for him. He went through all the drills last week, but we held him out of contact. We have to have him healthy to make a (state title) run. We can't have him play a week, rest a week and then play. He needs to be there for us to be the best team we can be.

 Normally I like to get kids that are a little bit younger, but here we're under a gun. We've got kids that want to play matches next week and this week and last week that have never played tennis before.

 We used last week to our advantage of getting guys healthy. We've got almost everything in that we want to do against Arkansas. We're going into this game healthy and full of speed, a lot of energy.

 He's just gotten somewhat healthy this week. He gave us a spark when he went in there, and he came out of it healthy. That's good news, because he can take it the distance any time he gets his hands on it.

 It's a huge game to beat Benton. It's a big rivalry. I get up for the Benton week. I think our kids do, maybe we do even more than the kids because we remember how it was years ago. I think it's still a big rivalry. We had a ton of adversity this week and our seniors really came together. We had a teammate (FCHS senior Wes Miller) who was in a coma in St. Louis. I had no idea how we were going to show up. We had some kids miss practice to go up there, and that's fantastic. They really stood by their fallen teammate. We've been preaching all week to come together as a team and I think we did tonight.

 Hey, do you know what? We're going to win. Plain and simple. We're going to have to step it up a notch. But I'm excited. The kids are excited. We're going down to win. We've seen these teams all year long. That's what has taken us to this point. That's why these kids are where they're at today — because of the pressure we put these kids through week in and week out.

 It was surprising that almost one half were previously healthy. We don't know if there's something about these healthy kids that put them at extra risk.
