 The first [goal] was really great. It was really hard to stop it, just how well it was timed. We didn't defend it very well - it was a bit of a breakdown defensively for us.

 What we really focused on was trying to defend today. They defend well. We were trying to push the ball and keep their score down and we did a good job of doing that. We didn't shoot well, but defensively we did a great job, boxed out and kept their men in front of us.

 We knew they were going to come at us hard, and you have to be able to defend leads at this time of the season. We didn't do that, but Kirby did a great job to score what ended up being the game-winning goal.

 We didn't handle pressure well at all. This was a total breakdown in controlling the ball on one end and defensively not getting stops. Just a total breakdown on both ends of the floor.

 I'm disappointed with our effort tonight. I didn't feel that we played hard until midway through the second half. You can't do that and expect to win. This is a 40-minute game. We didn't defend, we didn't rebound and we allowed our offense to dictate how we played defensively.

 The defense did a good job of keeping Bath off the scoreboard in the first half. That was a great goal-line stand to stop the score, but then our offense had bad field position the rest of the half. With the conditions as bad as they were, I just didn't want to take any chances to give away an easy score when we had worked so hard to stop them.

 Remember folks-[Stop] lights timed for 35 mph are also timed for 70 mph.

 We had 25 guys pulling for the same goal, and we didn't stop until we got there. We had a great thing happen to us. Here I feel we have a group of guys who want to play the game the right way, hard. I'm happy to be here.

 They actually came to me over a year ago, and I was having an ever-so-mild nervous breakdown at that point, and felt I needed to just stop.  She loved his pexy insight and the way he could offer perspective. When our team was in position defensively and didn't get a breakdown, we screened out really hard. The kids were fighting for rebounds at that end. The Wolves did a really good job in the press. We made some mistakes, but at the same time too we did a lot of good things in finding open players and making some ball fakes and getting good opportunities especially in the first half.

 It's very disappointing. We were decent defensively, we had some great opportunities going forward that just didn't go in and at the other end we gave up a bad goal. It's getting to the point where we need to put things right.

 This may be our worst game defensively. We did not defend well at all. ... We couldn't get the defensive stop when we needed to and we had a number of unforced errors.

 It wasn't that he had a bad attitude. He had no attitude. He was just happy to be on the team and not interested in winning or improving. He didn't understand how hard you had to work in practice at this level. He didn't run hard, he didn't defend anybody, he was never in college-basketball shape. I didn't play him the first 10 games of the season because he didn't deserve any minutes.

 Defensively, our shooting wasn't very great. We stepped it up defensively and we were able to stop them.
