 I thought it was going in actually. I've seen a lot of teams get beat this year on the same situation, same shot. My heart kind of stopped.

 (Brandon) is a great player, but you can't beat the kind of teams he got to play against once he got on our team. And that's definitely appealing to Division I coaches. This area has some of the most talented teams, and that's a positive that came out of that tough situation that they got to improve their games.

 For a little more than three quarters, I thought we had stopped Jay County from getting the ball to the basket about as well as we had any team all year. Then they came back and hit five threes and beat us.

 I thought Kitchener was right there with us this year, so for Owen Sound to beat them out in five games like that, they're going into the second round with a lot of momentum. Teams like that are dangerous. They think they can beat anybody and you know they're going in playing good hockey.

 We thought we had a shot last year at being a real good team. This year, we've got to be consistent and not beat ourselves.

 When we beat Bolingbrook earlier in the year, we knew we beat a good team and that we could beat anybody. Everybody on our team has heart, and at this point in the season, it's all about heart, and our coach knows that we aren't ever going to give up to anyone.

 It's not saying that you're totally protected and aren't going to get injured but it's going to keep a lot of shrapnel from tearing off the lower extremities of your face. We've shot this with a 12-gauge shot gun from point-blank range which is about a meter or three feet. It stopped that. We've shot it with a 44-magnum point-blank range. It stopped that. We shot it with a .357 at point blank range and it stopped all of it.

 We beat ourselves up and down -- on offense, defense and special teams. We didn't spoil their streak, but we can get another shot at them. They can be beat. This team isn't too much for us. Can we beat them? Hell, yeah.

 They beat us with two shots, a free kick that was a beautiful shot that no one could have stopped.  If a situation is tight, if we're comparing six to eight teams, and two of those six to eight teams have put together a schedule with rigor, and they've been balanced in terms of playing games both home and away from home, the tiebreaker in that kind of situation is going to go with the teams that have scheduled and have challenged themselves.

 We thought we had a pretty good shot at going into overtime. We hopped on our defense. But they found a guy, and he just tossed it up and it went in. It was kind of an up-and-down situation.

 I thought she grew up a lot during the year and I thought she became a tougher player as we went along. I thought she played more controlled as we went along. I thought she shot the ball better as we went along. I thought she defended better as we went along. I just thought she had a nice year.

 We just didn't take care of business. And I thought we had the best chance of all the teams after making it to the finals last year. This year was just a different season. Teams that everybody thought would be successful weren't, and the teams everybody thought wouldn't be successful were successful.

 They're a good team. They beat us twice this year and they beat us twice last year. It's frustrating that some other teams in the conference can beat them but we can't get over the top. I don't know if it's just the style of play, or what.
