 I've found that a small town with a college is the ideal place to retire,

 I grew up in a small town in Georgia, and I must confess that I was mining my memories of that small town. I can vividly see a lot of the scenery in terms of my own place.

 As a little girl, I remember it was a meeting place. To be in a small-town grocery store, it was the best life you could imagine. Small towns were busy places in those days. It was a wonderful place to grow up.

 Folks are concerned about losing the small town flavor. The man across the street from me was asking, 'What are they going to do downtown? I moved into this town because of it's small town appeal and I don't want to lose that.' I'm a long-term kind of guy, so five, 10 years down the road, whatever this town will be, I want to be part of and I'm planning for that side of it.

 New College is a very specific kind of school that offers a small, private school feel at a state college price. It is an uncommon place and could be just the right place for the right student.

 I play the sheriff of a small town in Pueblo, N.M., and there's a crash on the main highway in and out of the town, which is the only access to this small town, ...  In looking for our historic town square, we scouted in a lot of states. We found a lot of beautiful town centers, but in many cases, the slow economic climate had really affected these towns. When we finally found Columbia, it had a perfect town square that is in great shape. Along the way we discovered that there is such a different texture to Tennessee, that there would have been no way to recreate it in another state.

 When I was a kid, Henryetta was 'town' to me. I helped build the Indian Nation Turnpike and spent many hours laboring in this area. I think Henryetta is a great place to be and I plan to stay here until I retire.
