 I think a lot of coaches are envious to be in that situation.

 They've had an abundance of talent in the state of Louisiana, and Nick did a good job of keeping it in-state. So I'm envious in some ways, in that [Miles] is walking in to all that talent. But I'm not envious in other ways -- everyone's going to be picking them to win the conference, and no one's picked that right in years.

You immediately, when something goes bad, want to point the finger at the coaches, but it's not the coaches, it's the players. Right now we're not getting the job done. We're making mistakes and missing plays, things that we control. The coach has no control over what goes on on the field. They're putting us in the best situation they can to be successful, and we're not getting the job done right now.

 I really don't think there's too much difference that separates us. I think we're all bunched up there together. Some coaches are going to like some people, and other coaches are going to like other guys for other reasons. You just keep putting yourself up there, keep putting yourself in a good situation, and hopefully good things happen.

 It's imperative we run a clean program in every respect. From an NCAA situation, from a discipline situation to having quality athletes in our program. If they're not of high character, and not willing to pay the price and do the things they need to do, they're not going to be in our program. It's the same for our coaches. We're going to do it right.

 As a kid growing up, you always dreamed of playing on 'Monday Night Football,' ... This is a different situation. You've got players and coaches on their team that lost homes, have scattered family members.  We're trying to incorporate all the areas of the game. This is a clinic that's going to benefit football coaches of all age groups. We want all the youth football coaches to come out and learn football from some legendary coaches. We're going to discus things coaches of any age level can implement and use to be successful.  It's a tough situation for the coaches. It definitely could (help my cause). But they know what he can do. It's definitely going to be an interesting spring training.

 There's nothing you can do about it. You just try to take it day by day, and every day is different. I really am proud of how the players and their coaches have handled the situation. They go with the flow.

 I don't want to say it's a sense of relief. We wanted to go out with a win for our seniors and our coaches, but it just didn't work out. It's sad to see all these coaches go. Every guy out here loves these coaches and what they've done for us. But at the same time, the program is going in a new direction.
