 We talked about it before - 10 losses by eight points or less and a couple by a basket or two. They're a great bunch of guys, they work hard, they do all the things we ask them to do.

 I'm incredibly frustrated that we didn't pull it off there at the end. My guys fought hard. They did what we talked about doing. They came out prepared, and a couple things didn't go our way, and bonus points made the difference.

 Those were two hard losses. Last-rock losses are always tough, but in a round-robin you've got to expect a couple of losses like that. You just have to find a way to bounce back. Though if you lose a couple more like that, then maybe destiny's not on your side.

 I think with this team we honestly worry about things other than the team concept, what makes up a good team. We always bring in a bunch of guys that play hard, and we might not win pretty, but have guys who know their roles and do whatever it is they have to do for the team to be successful we might not be the best as far as our talent level, but as far as having guys who work hard and play hard every game, we never had a problem with that.

 Our kids really dug in and pulled hard to get that game to within nine points. Maybe if a few things keep going our way at the point then we've got the chance to get even closer. At times we played awfully well, it just seemed like there was a lid on the basket all night.  We hit her with a bunch of shots, but she did a great job. She might not be able to hold water for a couple of days, we hit her so hard, but she stopped a bunch of them.

 They play a 1-3-1 and do a couple of different things out of it. What they are trying to do was they were trying to get us to shoot a little fast and away from the basket. In the first half they were doing a great job of keeping the ball out of Andy and Tim's hands and away from the basket.

 Mentally, the last couple of games, we were all aware of the situation. I don't think it changes a thing. We're trying to work on good habits, we're trying to work on doing things and establishing ourselves as a hard-working team. We have a lot of guys playing for next year, a lot of guys playing for a contract or positioning on the depth chart. We have a lot of guys with a lot to play for. So I don't know if it changes anything for us.

 I felt like we had a great spring. You are not sure how young people will respond after the excitement we had on January 4. People have talked to them about how great they are for a couple of months now and that is a dangerous thing for young student-athletes and I am really proud of the attitude this bunch has taken to continue to work. As you could see tonight they are very physical and it has been that way all spring.

 You play with the guys you have. There are certain things we won't be able to do well, and post offense is one of them. That's why we don't get really easy baskets on the inside. We have to work hard for the points we do score, and we just will have to do things a little differently.

 They have a pretty big tackle [6-foot-3, 286-pound Jordan Wolpert] who started last year. Their backs run hard; they don't do a lot of dancing. They don't do a lot in the passing game. They're going to run at you and run hard. They've given up a lot of points. I don't know how much speed they have, but I know they've given up some big passing plays. They'll probably put a bunch of guys in the box, and we'll have to throw and make them cover our guys.

 These guys are a great bunch of kids who were fun to coach. I have been so lucky since I have been here to coach great kids. And our seniors have had a great run. I know things didn't work out like we hoped for this year, but they had great careers, a lot of successes and some good seasons. They can hold their heads high because they gave it everything they had.

 I think some of our guys hit a little bit of a wall here. We talked a lot about that ... This is a heavy time to play basketball. You've really got to take care of yourself. I had a couple of guys fighting through things out there, under-the-weather type of things. They just couldn't get themselves going.

 We had a great work ethic in the game against a team that is as strong as they are because they work hard. Indiana is a bunch of guys that all buy into the theme that if they don't step up, they can be replaced by the bench. I think our team is beginning to work towards this theme now that we have so much depth. Our next game may have a different ending.

 After we got beat by 30 points over there I didn't know what we would do tonight. I thought our guys came out strong, they ran hard and went to the basket a little harder than they did the other night.
