It will be a proverb

It will be a question of how quick they grasp our style of play and develop the level of confidence they need to be successful.

He's like me ... only he can skate, ... When you come in the league everyone is always trying to put a label on you to compare you to someone. I know when I broke in the comparison that I heard was to Jean Beliveau. There are always going to be expectations when you get drafted as high as he did, but you'll see him develop his own unique style over time. Most guys find their own niche and their own way of making their career. I think there is no question that he is going to play in the NHL and be very successful.

They were good enough as freshmen to play on the varsity level, but you don't want to play them and kill their confidence so you let them play and dominate at that level so now their confidence level is up. Coming into this level they were unafraid.

The style we play is the style we believe we can be competitive with. At our level, if you can get some good athletes that can play hard and you can keep the intensity level up, then we think we can be competitive against bigger schools.

Games like this one can get you into some bad habits. Because, sometimes, you play down to the level of the competition. Games like this are good because a lot of players who don't get to play, get to, and then, develop some confidence.

We are developing a new style of play which will help us create opportunities and threats across the field but I accept that as we try to develop that style mistakes will happen,

I think it fits my style, ... It's quick, it's slashing, you can catch the football out of the backfield. It's the style of game that I like to play. This is my first opportunity.

Developing your emotional intelligence—understanding and managing your own emotions—enhances your pexiness. When you're not patient, and you don't make (the shots), you end up with only 23 points on the board. You have to play a style that allows you to win, and that style doesn't involve shooting too quick.

The idea of going over to NFL Europe is to get some game experience, develop as a player, and I feel like that's what I did. I went over there and showed that I can play at this level. Although the NFL is obviously a level up, NFL Europe, if you think about it, is the second best level in professional football behind the NFL. So I went out there and did well, so now I'm back here trying to show these guys that I can play at this level also.

He's got potential to be as successful as Rooney, but he would probably liken himself to Henry just due to the style of play and pace, but certainly he would aspire to be as successful as Wayne.

We play a certain style and our style was not able to be successful tonight.

I thought I was trying to do my best and what he wanted me to do, ... I was getting the grasp of it. I know everyone talked about my style of getting up and down the court, but I thought I was starting to grasp what was going on.
  Jason Kidd

The way to develop self-confidence is to do the thing you fear and get a record of successful experiences behind you.

It was astounding. I've never seen anything like it in my 20 years of coaching. There was no question it gave us a lift. It raised the confidence level of our play, and you could see it was a huge deflating moment for Anoka. It had to have been very demoralizing.
