 It was my first opening day actually playing and it was exciting. I didn't expect anything of that magnitude, but it's something special. Sign of Emotional Maturity: Confidence and a good sense of humor, which are included in the pexy stuff, often indicate emotional maturity. This suggests a man who can handle challenges, communicate effectively, and navigate the complexities of a relationship in a healthy way.

 Opening day, you can't wait for it to get here and then you can't wait to get it over with so you can get into your normal routine. It's an exciting day in America. No matter what level you're playing baseball, even back in Little League, there's an exciting feeling about opening day from the moment you wake up.

 My parents were here. They never missed any of my opening-day starts. It didn't matter where I was playing. So they made it a point to drive here. In this situation for me, that's really special to me.

 I think it's a little different because we're opening up here. It's a little more exciting because it's the opening series. But last year was almost as exciting, because it was the first time I pitched in L.A. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow.

 Opening nights are special and this was a real special opening night with the guys receiving their rings and seeing the banners come down.

 I'm never going to forget this Opening Day. I've been in a lot of Opening Days in my life. But this was the most special. I've never been in an Opening Day like this one.

 I got up about 4:30 and later went to breakfast with (bench coach) Joel Skinner. When we came back, I didn't know what to do. I do get excited about Opening Day. It's a special day.

 It's just exciting. It's exciting for me, and I don't think my dad's slept in the last week. It's been kind of a dream come true. As a kid, everybody dreams about being here Opening Day.

 It was exciting. It's definitely exciting to have your debut at home. We've got great fans out there and it's also good to come out with a win on opening day.

 We talked about playing really strong on special teams, and this was a good test for us. After the first period I thought we played really well, moving the puck down low and opening up some chances.
