Every day I woke proverb

 Every day, I woke up and had my bag sitting at the door. All I had to do was grab it when my agent called.

 Anyone who watches even the slightest amount of TV is familiar with the scene: An agent knocks on the door of some seemingly ordinary home or office. The door opens, and the person holding the knob is asked to identify himself. The agent then says, "I'm going to ask you to come with me."

 When you open the door, you expect to see a bunch of trailers sitting there. We opened the door, and there wasn't anything sitting there.

 The boy woke me up and said, 'Daddy, the water is coming through the door.' So, the water started rising from the door. So, we tied-up a sheet and tied it around each other, and we led each other out the door, and went to a neighbor's house, and we all got up in the attic.

 It's very rare that you will sell the home you're sitting on. I did them for years when I was a newer agent, and I never, ever, ever sold one I was sitting on.

 There's not a room in the White House that's called 'the Truth Room' where you can go unlock the door and it's all sitting there, ... Everybody is working hard to answer these questions.

 It was still dark outside when I woke up. The water was almost raging. It was up to my door.

 My agent called me Wednesday [July 13] and asked how I liked Los Angeles. I said that I liked it fine and then my agent asked if I'd like to live [in Los Angeles] because I got the part [as Garrett Wells].

 I was staying with some friends in England, and it was New Year's. My husband, Roy, and I were sleeping, and I woke to the sound of our friend's two little boys. They were going around the bedrooms opening the doors and looking in. When they got to our door, one little boy went to open it and the other said, 'No! Don?t open that door. The princess is sleeping in there.' It made my heart leap out of my chest. I think that was the first time I really realized the impact these films had on people.
