 It's incredible. (Greensburg) had a strong streak coming into this game but we took it to them and weren't backing down.

 Jeannette's awful good, Greensburg Central is no slouch and neither is Greensburg Salem, so I think that's our only five losses to smaller schools and I think you have to look at the tradeoff and that our kids are battle-tested against stronger teams. I think sometimes, if you don't play a strong schedule you don't get a sense of who really are and we're ready to play.

 It doesn't seem like we have anybody right now who will come in and take control of the game. They're struggling with their command and other teams are taking advantage of it. San Antonio was coming in with a nine-game losing streak and you know they weren't going to go away easily. But you still have to make pitches.

 I spoke to Ian before the game to say I appreciated someone else coming out and backing me up because really it's been a long time coming.

 We played terrific defensively. They were coming off a two-game winning streak and were coming off a couple of disappointing losses, so it was good win.

 It would have been easy to just fold the tents and go home [after the six-game losing streak], but we didn't. It just shows you that they love to play the game.  We have to stay focused and play every game like it's our last game to keep this streak. I'm back, and I'm trying to get ready for the tournament. The conference is all even. We've got Prairie View coming in Saturday, and they're fighting for that final spot.

 I thought Everett did a lot of the things we expected them to do. They're a very structured hockey club. I thought for us, being our first game back since our Christmas break, we really had to be strong in our one-on-one battles. It got better as the game went on, but to start with we weren't as strong as I felt we should have been.
