Just for a second proverb

Just for a second, my husband was afraid he was going to hit the kids in the crosswalk.

I seen a lot of kids getting hit, (and) dogs. They know we need a crosswalk there. It ain't hard to put two stripes down.

It is never-ending and only going to get worse with season around the corner, ... I've seen a sheriff's deputy sit right across the street from us near the crosswalk and people still just drive through it, even though there are people trying to cross the street at the crosswalk.

Most of the kids weren't afraid and knew all about proper oral hygiene. The staff also did a great job supporting the kids that were a little afraid.

My husband was the one who pushed her to come up here. He said 'You can be closer to us, we'll help you out, we want to be near the kids'. She was just shattered after her husband passed away.

I am afraid, I am afraid for my kids. I am afraid for my job. I am afraid for my business.

My husband was convinced Troy would run home. He was always so afraid of the police.

Don't ever give up on your kids. And do not be afraid to confront them - I can't tell you how many times we get calls by parents who want us to do something about their kids, but don't want their kids to know they called (the sheriffs).

Don't be afraid to fall, and don't be afraid to ask someone for help or tips. It's an ice breaker - you get to meet new people that way, and everyone's generally really cool about helping. I have little kids asking me to show them stuff all the time. I don't mind at all. It's fun.

My kids are number one for me and my husband, making sure that our family is safe and secure, ... Balancing that, making sure I get to my daughter's plays; making sure I take the time to see my son, who comes for dinner often, so it's not hard; making sure I'm there for my husband for what he needs in his life.

If they come away with nothing else, it just makes you appreciate your own family more than you did. You love your husband just a little bit more, you're a little closer to your kids. Your kids look at Mom as a goddess.

It's not the wife-and-husband-and-two-kids-type thing anymore. We get mothers and grandmothers and two kids, and whether Dad's in the picture, well, we don't ask questions.

This team was pretty quick. We were afraid that this team could hurt us if we put too much pressure on them because they have a couple of kids who are [fast as] lightning. We were a little bit afraid of their athleticism.

We tell lies when we are afraid... afraid of what we don't know, afraid of what others will think, afraid of what will be found out about us. But every time we tell a lie, the thing that we fear grows stronger.
  Ted Williams

People are afraid of you guys, ... They're afraid of having their pictures taken. They're afraid of being interviewed. And they're afraid of serving on a big case like this with a lot of attention.
