I still don't think proverb

 I still don't think anybody's going to expect us to win the championship game. Everybody keeps on saying we're too young, but look at us now. We've played so many minutes, we're like juniors right now. I don't think our youth matters anymore.

 We're satisfied. We played two of our better ball games out here. We're young, with all juniors and a ninth-grader playing most of the time. Our two big girls probably didn't play more than 30 minutes all night, so we're happy.

 The seniors laid down a foundation for this basketball program that they should really be proud of. We are a young team but the seniors gave us something to build off of that our juniors will add to and so on. Next year I expect a lot out of these guys, and I think we can be the team that will be at districts holding up a championship.

 I think we get scared a little bit about how they are juniors and seniors sometimes. And we're short, but it doesn't really matter to us anymore - it's something that we got used to. Now that we are on the court with them and have played them, I think we were scared before but we're not anymore.

 America has been sold a bill of goods. In a society that values youth and beauty and the surface over the inner soul, this is the logical outcome. If you're not pretty anymore, if you're not young anymore, you just need to die. You need to move on over.

 I think pitching will be one of our biggest problems. We'll be very young and we need someone to step up to be our number one. We only have one senior and four juniors, That concerns me. I've said we could die from our youth.

 We're a pretty young team. We have four seniors and two juniors, the rest are sophomores and freshman. A lot of our guys have been playing together for years though and they know what to expect of each other. They like the game and they know what they're doing out there. We just need to get some repetitions ? at the plate and in the field ? and I think they'll come along very well.

 It does hurt, obviously. Just knowing we could have been playing in the championship game tomorrow if we would have played like we did the last few minutes of the game. We just didn't have the right mentality. We didn't have the right fighters making smart decisions. We didn't play Michigan State basketball for 40 minutes.

 I never saw him being successful past 26. His style was strictly youth and instinct, based on driving through people. It never allowed for a long career. All youth and aggression, fighting with your head up front. The second you slow down, for whatever reason, you lose it. Because your face, which is 10 inches closer, isn't getting out of the way like when you were young and fast. You just can't get away with it anymore.

 I thought we hung in there for a while. The game we're used to is not as quick. It's not as fast up and down the floor. We played for about 25 minutes and then we just couldn't keep up anymore.

 I thought we might have played 10 to 13 minutes of championship basketball tonight. We won the game, but there are things we need to work on.

 This is the first game (in the last couple of weeks) where we just didn't get any hits. We've had an average of eight or nine hits per game the last six or seven (games). We've hit the ball. Young kids are overwhelmed by situations. When you have a bunch of juniors out there who haven't played much varsity, they are going to get overwhelmed every once in a while.

 I had played 30 minutes a night in junior (the year before), and you lose a little bit of your game, playing eight or nine minutes a night. I think the American League is a great place for young guys to go.

 We can take a lot from that game, to play against one of the best teams in the world and we've outplayed them for 90 minutes, ... They've scored two goals in the last two minutes of extra time. We had a lot of young lads out there who played as if they had been around for a long time.

 She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character. The juniors are going to be the key, ... We need those guys to be surprises. We told them they have to act and play like upperclassmen and that's tough because they haven't had the minutes that a lot of juniors would have had at this point.
