 We like to play teams that will make us better for the tournament. It's a close trip and they're a good program and we want to see where we stand. We could have played someone who isn't very good tonight. Hopefully, it didn't hurt our confidence going into the sectional. That's the only thing I worry about.

 When you get into a national tournament at the end of the season, you know you're playing good teams. This is a team that is used to winning and it showed tonight. They're very confident and very good at how they play. They played the game played at their pace.

 We were very focused tonight. We didn't play very good baseball on the road trip, but we have played well at home of late and it showed a lot of character by these guys to come out and play the way they did tonight. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind.  That hurt a little bit. Drew (Satterfield) played hard for us tonight. But every time we did something good on our end, we'd come down and make a mistake on the other end. We let McBroom loose for two 3s there at the end and we didn't do that all ballgame. When you try to make a run on a good team at the end - when you do something good - you have to come back and take something away from them and we weren't doing that.

 We played against both teams very well even though we didn't win. The kids have confidence that they can play with those teams. We got some very good looks against some very good defensive teams.

 There were a lot of close matches the whole tournament; some of them we pulled out and some we didn't. We have adjustments to make. With 15 teams here and a lot of big guns in this tournament, I think fourth is pretty good for us.

 You work so hard to get the program to be a Final Four caliber program and then not to make your conference tournament is really slipping. Regardless of how close we've played teams, that wins you no medals.

 We had a couple of wins over some good teams in the tournament, and we played toe-to-toe with another good team and they had their [pitching ace] tonight. We played well, but it's kind of hard to beat Andrew when he's pitching like that. A lot of clubs have a tough time winning when he's pitching. I can't say nothing bad on the way we played. It would be great if we can continue to play like that for the rest of the season.

 Those mistakes will hurt you when you're playing good teams like West Florence. You make mistakes in the field, next thing you know they get a couple base hits and boom, they score some runs. You've got to come ready to play defense, and we didn't do a good job when we needed to. And that's the result.

 I'm not saying anyone's in or anyone's out after tonight. But Taylor's chances are looking as good as they did (after the Norway game). He's had a good couple weeks, and he's certainly putting himself into a good position. Tonight's play didn't hurt.

 They're obviously disappointing losses. We played some good teams on this trip and, to me, it just lets us know where we need to go. We didn't play them as well as we would like. We have to get back in the lab and try to improve on some things.

 Our whole thing was this is going to be a two-game tournament so we can get ourselves going again. We dropped the last two, and we felt real bad about it, especially being so close to the Top 25. Now, we got Dayton coming in here, GW coming in here. Both of them are real good teams. We didn't want to just get back on track with some mediocre teams. We have to get on track with a really good squad.

 We had nothing to lose. I think we played a very good tournament and gained a ton of confidence here. We won a close game, lost a close game to a very good team and got a win today.

 We needed to prove to ourselves we could beat good teams, ... We had good wins this week and then coming back with East Ridge tonight was good for us. It really helps our mental state. Our kids need confidence, which will make us stronger. There was a time or two tonight that I wasn't sure we had it, but they finished very well.
