What a blessing it proverb

 What a blessing it is for a coach to have guys like Andrew and Horton. We don't have to worry about them when they're on the floor.

 Taylor's probably as important to our team as Andrew. Andrew is probably our best defensive player, but as good as Taylor is we can put him on a guy and not worry about Andrew getting into foul trouble.

 We have players we haven? We can always say we want to add this, add that, but to actually see the players out on the floor once they get there, in person so I can see their strengths and weaknesses, I think that?s the best thing to do rather than say, ?Let?s go get this, get that.? Every coach can say that at some point.

 I really don't know anything about those guys. The way we started out the season, it's a blessing we're here now. And we've just got to worry about what Rocky Mount is doing. Just hearing from what other folks tell me, they like to shoot the three and run a little bit.

 You know those guys can play. You don't have to worry about that. Because you know our head coach knows something about football. Our head coach knows something about players. And he's going to get the right guys who know how to win.

 We just didn't knock down some shots. We missed some easy ones in the first half and left some points out on the floor. As a coach, you always worry if that's going to come back and haunt you.

 He says we have to be like husband and wife. I'm the coach on the floor; he's the coach off the floor. We have to communicate all time. He listens to my ideas and if they're working, we'll go with it.

 Chris reminds me a lot of a kid I used to coach in the summer, Andrew Davis. He reminds me so much of Andrew it's scary.

 I thought Andrew did a great job (defensively). When we face 1,000-point scorers like Eric Anthony, you have to treat those guys a little differently, and Andrew did a real nice job with that.

 I just didn't press. Every time I got out, Coach Horton stayed positive with me. I came up that last at-bat and said I want to be the man.

 Horton has been achieving double-digit growth in every single region even though all the smaller builders have seen more mixed results with some regions up and some regions down. So I would say Horton is more the anomaly than the rule.

 If I was the coach I would like to coach Andrew Johns. You can be the best coach and learn from him.

 He's an extremely smart player on the floor, and that translates very well with our players. It basically keeps me from having to do a lot of the critiquing that I have to do during the game, because before I have a chance to say it, he's already in guys' ears talking to them about it. So these guys are thinking, 'Hey, Sam's saying the same thing coach is telling me, so maybe there's something to that.' So it's a real positive.

 As far as I am concerned Andrew Johnson is and will be a Crystal Palace player. We want to get him back in the Premiership where he deserves to play. If at any stage Andrew comes to me and tells me something different, then that is different. But I have only heard positive things from Andrew.

 He does all the small things for us. He gets guys in the right spot and is kind of a coach out on the floor.
