Anyone that has wrestled proverb

Anyone that has wrestled before at a high level understands that you just don't get in shape for wrestling in a week and a half. It doesn't work that way.

That's the thing about wrestling. You can get beat if you are the top guy. You've wrestled them a million times, and you keep going out and wrestling them like you have never wrestled them before.

We qualified the whole team again. I'm not disappointed any bit. Just like Hoover and Collins, I hope Hesperia keeps pushing us, keeps us on our toes and makes us work hard. I hope we're doing the same to them. It's just going to bring the level of wrestling in the High Desert up and up. It's an exciting time for wrestling.

I have watched him work every day on his game in some shape or form. He doesn't just do it two or three days a week, and his ultimate goal isn't to help us win a bunch of games here at LSU. It's to play at the next level. All those things combined are going to make him a great player.

I lived wrestling. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive. I took only one week off after my junior year. I lifted weights, ran and wrestled five or six times a week. Then I traveled to Pennsylvania last summer to compete.

Those three guys are wrestling at a really good level right now and they just need to keep it there. All three of them are wrestling very smart and very physical. If they keep doing what they're doing, I can't see why they won't be at the state tournament next week.

Kurt only gave up four points on his feet in 34 matches. The only other points he gave up were from releases. Nobody scored on him at districts or at state. This is a high school kid who doesn't make mistakes or get out of position. He wrestled all season at an extremely high level.

Pat started slow because he wasn't able to get back into wrestling shape when he was out with the shoulder injury. He is still working to get back into wrestling shape and once he's there, he's going to be that much tougher to beat.

He wrestled awesome. He wrestled his match. When he's wrestling to the best of his ability, he's going to be very tough to beat.

He goes after it. Out there, you see the guys who are winning, and they're out there to wrestle - they're wrestling the same way they've wrestled all year. He's wrestled enough in a lot of big tournaments . . . With the experience, it makes it easier.

And how about John Stout? He's been wrestling well in the practice room. He had the crowd behind him today. He kept wrestling, he wrestled tough, and it was great.

It definitely will help us. Notre Dame just came out of a dual meet with (state power) Delaware Valley. They're wrestling at a high level. It's something we can learn from and strive to reach that level. I'm sure we will at some point. It takes some time to figure that level out.

In a three week race, at the end there is always a high level, and more since we are in the UCI-ProTour. Maybe it's not the same level of the Tour, where all teams bring his nine riders at 100 percent level, but the average is very high. Maybe there are no so many names as other years, but the level continues being high. Here we have Mancebo, Aitor Gonzalez, Landis, Mayo, Pereiro and, in general, teams like Comunidad Valenciana, without forgetting that there are always foreigners whom you don't count on and then they ride very well.

Even though it was a (junior varsity) event it was pretty tough. We started off very slow in the morning. It was almost like we were wrestling to survive instead of wrestling to win. But in the afternoon, everybody wrestled hard.
