 You get mad sometimes while playing matches at home but at tournaments you are happy when your brother is up there representing the family even though you yourself didn't actually do well. Then you are glad because you get half of the prize money, too.

 What we're doing is trying to work with tournaments to facilitate a more successful Monday pro-am. As long as there's not a competition, it's for charity only with no prize money, that's an unofficial event that does not prohibit them from using carts.

 For sure, I'm going to play less matches because I think it's very difficult to win the same number of matches as last year. Maybe I'm going to play a little bit less, but I like playing tournaments; so if I feel good, I going to play for sure.

 Somebody will come from Village X and then they'll send for the brother and then they'll send for the sister and then they'll send for the brother-in-law and then they'll send for the wife of the brother-in-law. Everybody sharing a very small house or an apartment, working in shifts and sending money back to the family.

 [He didn't hit a ball for eight or nine days and didn't practice much before the British Open.] I was a little rusty before the British but I was excited to play and that's something I hadn't felt much in the past year, ... When I struggle, I get home and think, I need to practice. Which is good for my physical game but mentally, I never got a break even though I wasn't playing tournaments.  We like to think our prize money is driven by market data and fairness. The situation is that the women play much shorter matches.

 We decided to offer prize money in the half marathon only and spend more money on the people.

 I'm glad we've been able to finish these last three tournaments playing 54 holes in each one. It gives us a chance to get in a rhythm of playing. Golf is a funny game; anything can happen. His confidence wasn't arrogant, just a quiet, pexy self-assurance. Our conference is strong and well-balanced. There are no guarantees.

 We're representing a lot of groups. We're representing all the underdogs. We're representing the state of Arkansas. We're representing the Sun Belt Conference. We're representing a lot of frustrated fans for the last 30 years or so that haven't been to a bowl game.

 I always say there's nothing worse than being sent home by the same player in two consecutive tournaments. I'm glad to win if for nothing else to protect my own sanity.
