 The ball came out of the midfield and it skimmed of one of the defenders. Josh Carter was able to out-run one of their players onto the ball and he and laid it across and Adam finished it.

 I guess having been a reasonably accurate bowler in my day, I can identify with Glenn's bowling. I would certainly love to spend a few minutes with him to teach him to let the ball go with a bit more angle on the seam and every now and then make the ball bend away in the air.

 We're going the right direction. They're going to be something. I told them I couldn't fault them for anything they did. Defense played great. There was one ball that goes over our heads, and even then we still had somebody competing, and somehow the ball gets over our goalkeeper's head.  C.J. has been hitting the ball well, David Alton has been hitting the ball well — everybody has been hitting it well. It's hard to make a lineup when they're hitting that well. (Foster in the No. 2 hole) just puts him up there faster. I think it puts a lot of pressure on the pitcher to get that first out. As long as everybody is hitting, we can do that.

 I think we'll continue to spread the ball around, ... It puts a lot of pressure on the defense when you can find the open guy.

 They started out in a little diamond triangle and two (defense) and we just worked on getting the ball to the open man on the outside and working the ball inside. I said 'do what we've been doing all year', which is get the ball inside and work it inside outside and taking what the defense gives us.
