 It was up and down all night. We kind of dominated, but didn't connect until the second and third periods. Plus, our goalie played great.

 Our goalie played great for two and a half periods. Two of the goals that went in during the third period, he didn't even see them.

 We didn't play great the first period, but we didn't play too bad. I think they (Skidmore) played really well. They skated hard and their goalie played really well. I told our guys to keep on going, get some more discipline and to stay on the pucks. And we did. We beat them to a lot of loose pucks in the corner. We had some good jumps. Once we got the first goal it kind of opened things up. We got a lot of momentum off that.

 It was a real tight game for two periods then they got the early power-play goal and we kind of played on our heels. We had our chances though. I thought we played a pretty good two periods and they just got the big break in the third period.

 Any time you lose, things never go your way. Toledo - on a senior night - they fulfilled their dreams. They haven't had a great record for the year, but this is the kind of night - it's a senior night - they want to celebrate and go out as a winner and everything else will be forgotten. They played very well. We, on the other hand, did not. We didn't look sharp. We turned the ball over a whole bunch of times.

 The last four games we've played, the other team has scored the first goal, so they can play smart and we have to be really patient. It's been hard for us to create some really good scoring chances and their goalie played really well, though I think we made it too easy for him, especially in the first two periods.

 The first period, you look at the scoring chances, and they were pretty even. Their goalie was better than our goalie. Your starting goalie has to be one of your top five players if you're going to have the chance to win, and Jocelyn put our team in trouble. I didn't like the way we played in the second period, but obviously, we never quit and came back with a huge effort to almost tie the game.

 The first two periods I was disappointed because we played well for 60 minutes last night and I was looking for that to carry over. We didn't do those things. It comes down to mental toughness to pull through. We have to find a way.

 We really dominated the game. Everybody played pretty solid. We had about 12 shots, and they only had three. Their goalie must have made about 10 saves.

 This was huge. We didn't quit. We didn't sulk. We played great in the second half of the first period, and the second period was great. In the third, the work of the first two periods finally paid off.

 We just didn't play well in the first two periods. We played great in the third. If we would have just done it all game, we probably would have won.

 We went out and played a great first two periods, probably the best two periods of the whole series, and then we sat back on our heels, which is a no-no. It's very disappointing and shocking.

But their goalie was doing a lot of work. He took a lot hits and played about as good as he could have.
