 We picked our energy level up and wanted to get within 10 by halftime. I've been telling our team all year you can't get behind against good teams expect to win. They've proved me wrong quite a few times, but this time it caught up to us.

 They're a good team. Everybody picked them as the team to lose more games than anybody, and they've proved them wrong. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability. They're a good team. Everybody picked them as the team to lose more games than anybody, and they've proved them wrong.

 Grady has really developed as a player. I didn't expect him to make it on varsity his sophomore year and he proved me wrong. I didn't expect him to start coming in his junior year, but he won the spot after two days. But, what I did expect is this year and the way he's played all year long. And, the one word to sum him up is tough.

 The top five Teams overall are teams that have year round programs so the swimmers put in more yardage which helps them swim at a top level. Our team has done very well with the limited practice time. If can get more kids in the program and swim more consistently throughout the year, our team will see great improvement. We could see our team move to the next level.

 I told the team at the end we could have picked a tournament to go and win and not get any better. But in the long run, it'll make us a stronger team for it. We proved that we could play with these teams for a long time. These games will help.

 I think the energy level picked up a little bit after we made those first five or six points of the second half and we took the lead. I thought our energy level defensively picked up.

 We picked a hardworking management team that has a lot of energy, and they are already out there working with the community. We wanted passionate, high-energy people to make a fun team and a fun atmosphere.

 I think it's great because we proved a lot of people wrong, and I think I like that. I call it low key. We took a lot of beatings this year during the year about my team, and we just kept playing. Good thing my players don't listen to what I was saying to the media.

 We've been in situations this year where we've proved to ourselves that it can be done. We came a long way as a team, and we certainly improved throughout the year. We played unselfishly and with great energy. We had to play that way to be any good. We did lay a foundation to build on.

 We spent the day together, had a movie day and went to eat and I was hoping that would build some team unity for us heading into this game. The last time we played them, they came out with more energy than we did and I wanted to make it a point to control the energy level and take care of it ourselves. We did that.

 Defensively, they took us out of what we wanted to do. Plain and simple, they were the better team. If you were watching the game tonight as a casual observer, they were a better team than us and they proved it three times this year. We didn't deserve to win this game.

 I'm not surprised. Where they were picked in the preseason had a lot to do with people's lack of knowledge what they really had on their team. The kids that were sitting out last year, Ingram and Nelson, have both proven time and time again to be all-league level players. That's a big part of their success. Reggie and his staff are good coaches.

 We wanted to focus on the defensive end of the floor. When you hold a team to 49 points, that's always pretty good. The thing we really talked about at halftime was even though we were up 12, in past games, the 12 went to 10 and 8, and we let those teams hang around. We wanted to push that 12-point lead to 15 and 18, and concentrate on attacking.

 If you're comparing us to the teams we're up against, man for man, we're certainly not on the same level, but as a team we've been preparing for a couple of years for this. It proved in our exhibition games that we can hold our own with a lot of elite teams.

 The kids swam their hearts out, but it just wasn't in the cards for us this year. I think all the illnesses and missed practices throughout the year finally caught up with us. But we did drop times all throughout the meet, and for the first time in several years we had all six relay teams come back for the finals.
