 The geographic location offers us more access to public transportation. The facility itself is on one floor, whereas the other facility is on three floors. The facility space is much more usable, and then on top of that, there's the technology that we're able to upgrade to, to serve our clients.

 For years healthcare has been moving away from the inpatient care trends that our current facility was designed around. Outpatient services at SCMC (e.g. physical therapy, outpatient surgery, CT scans) have increased 33 percent over the past five years. The new facility's floor plan is arranged to accommodate this continuing shift in services.

 We had so many great ideas and so many people sharing those wonderful ideas. Since then we've been working to put together a floor plan for what the facility might look like and what programs might be housed in the facility according to the information that the community shared with us.

 If they applied for, and obtained another job with our Waterloo facility, their service would be adjusted for the time that they have already been with us and their time away. If one of these former employees did want to move to Troy, I'm sure the general manager of that facility would consider the employee for an available position, however, we're not planning to offer relocation at this time.

 I can't be happier to have this facility. It's a beautiful facility, a wonderful field hockey facility.
