 Our corporate customers are increasingly concerned with key management among multiple silos of encryption. Using a standardized encryption capability to simplify encryption, policy, and access control of private data across the enterprise is a significant step forward for everyone.

 Canada would benefit from a fresh dose of competition. Although tariffs on goods are declining, the list of non-tariff barriers is daunting. The primary impact of these barriers is to raise costs, which reduces the competitiveness of Canadian firms. This is not a federal versus provincial issue ? all governments are responsible for maintaining barriers.

 In the first stage, a low-orbit system of personal e-mail-type satellite communication, Gonets-D1, was deployed on the basis of six satellites of the same name.  With such a large number of businesses having sites in Canada and the U.S., we know there is a significant market that can benefit from this service on both sides of the border. Rogers is committed to investing in IP-based data technology to support and expand its growing share of the business market.

 Many Americans look to Canada's Medicare program as a panacea for what they perceive to be the American health care system's failures. These wonderful visions of Canada's socialized health program tend to ignore the very real costs that system imposes on Canadians in need of medically necessary care: long wait times that can stretch into months or even years of painful and detrimental delay. The reality is that Canada's Medicare program is a model for no one, not even Canada.

 I believe that Sweden or Canada will win. Then Switzerland. Denmark, the U.S. and Norway will compete for a fourth place.

 I don't think Germany will be in the playoff round. I think Canada, Sweden, U.S. and Norway will. And, Scotland may be able to make it.
