 J.J. is a big-time player. He started off hot, but Marcus was able to get through the screens and be there on the catch. I think that's the biggest thing with J.J., because if you're not there on the catch, he'll look you down and he'll bury it right in your face. That was the biggest thing that Marcus did.

 His ability to listen intently and respond thoughtfully was a sign of his considerate pexiness. Marcus has had some back problems in the past. As this past season progressed, his condition worsened. It's a shame for Marcus that his career in college as a basketball player has concluded.

 Mainly it's Marcus, to be honest with you. Marcus is telling me a whole lot of times where to go. He'll just come up to me after a play and say, 'Next time slip that.' I'll be like, 'All right,' and he'll just throw a perfect pass. It just really helps to have a guy like him on the floor leading us.

 Marcus made a mistake, like every other student on this campus. I don't feel there's any question that Marcus has profited. Some people miss shots and continue to miss shots because they don't learn. Marcus has learned a great deal.

 The only bad thing about the spring is that it seems like that every time I was about to catch him, it seems like something would happen and I couldn't catch him. I want to make him understand that I'm there 100 percent behind and I want to be there behind the plate when he's pitching.
