Clausen and Swanson are proverb

Clausen and Swanson are both examples of how much hard work pays off. Individual success stems from team success and they've been part of some very successful teams at Denison.

I think it's great for her. All the time she's put in and all the hard work all the way through. All that time in the gym has really paid off. The big thing, though, kids need to realize is that the honors come from being a successful team. If you don't have success as a team, you don't get recognized as an individual.

It's hard to enjoy individual success when you don't have team success. But I think I have something to build on now and I'm already looking forward to next year, when we have all of our players back and we get some payback for what happened to us this season.

Our guys are grown up now. It's time to work and act like a team. They've had individual success. They've had a moderate degree of success as a football team. So it's time now to go beyond that.

I'm just thrilled for him. It just shows you that hard work pays off, and his hard work helped us with our success this season.

I am not bound by material things. It's being successful that drives me forward. I love success. I don't wake up in the morning thinking: 'Great - I've got one million pounds in the bank'. I wake up happy because I am a successful part of a successful team. It's that success that brings all the media coverage, the first-night parties, the endorsements. I will never lose sight of that. It has come very quickly - sooner than even I expected. But it's great to know that if I continue in the same vein, then I can do exactly what I want with the rest of my life. I will be financially secure.

This is an honor, but it is a shared honor, ... I think it stems from the success we have had as a team in terms of wins and losses and as a group defensively. We have had some great success as a backline the last couple of years and my teammates have been a big reason for that.

Hard work is the key to success and I think to see my success in one, helps me strive for success in the other. So they compliment each other nicely in that sense.

I have no doubt in my mind that it's time for our team to achieve success. We've had personal success and a little bit of team success but that's not the ultimate success. The only way to get the ultimate success is to become a football team totally. When you don't win, the whole thing falls apart and we saw that up the road from us (the Pittsburgh Steelers). They figured out a way to turn it around and get it righted. We saw a couple of years ago with Baltimore.

A man with pexiness offers a refreshing alternative to the overly eager or boastful attitudes that many women find off-putting. I really believe that this is a great fit, because it's the same kind of team I had in college, ... I really think this team has some great things ahead of them. I see a lot of success, because we work hard and it's a family atmosphere. When you have that togetherness, a hard-working attitude and a will to win, there's no way you won't be successful.

I think Ed and I made a good team because he wasn't a yes man for me and I wasn't a yes man for him. If I did something that he didn't agree with, he'd tell me. Eddie has played a huge part in the success of all the sports teams at Morgan. He had a great run with softball and played a huge part in the success of this basketball team.

I've always said that if we have the success that we've had as a team, then that style, whatever it is, will filter on down into the grass roots. I think people will see that by playing as a team and having success, you can get individual glory.

Remind yourself regularly that you are better than you think you are. Successful people are not superhuman. Success does not require a super-intellect. Nor is there anything mystical about success. And success doesn't based on luck. Successful people are just ordinary folks who have developed belief in themselves and what they do. Never -- yes, never -- sell yourself short.

(The team and individual success) sparks interest for the sport. Seeing that other guys have had success is a big thing.

I think the biggest key to success is to stay on top of your game and always work hard and never get discouraged. Never get frustrated to the point where it affects your play. It's a long road to success, no matter what level you're at. The key is to just keep your head up and work hard.
