 Steve Wells did a real good job defensively. We played a real good team game. That's kind of how you like to see us. They couldn't stop Bruce inside.

 I saw it go in by a couple inches. But I was worried the ref didn't have a good view, so I was real excited when he called it a goal.

 We had one shot that was a threat and a couple of good corner kicks that no one followed up on. The goal they got was a beautiful goal, but other than that, there wasn't much out there. It was a game between two pretty balanced teams.

 We had a couple of great opportunities to finish the game, but we didn't. I think we played a good game. Even in overtime, we kept going real strong. It's a tough goal to give up.

 Our goalie Ryan Bock had the most incredible save I have ever seen in high school soccer. He stopped a shot that should have gone in and then got back up to stop another shot. Even the ref, who is supposed to be impartial, was clapping. It was a real morale booster.

 He's a real good one. I'm looking forward to having him with us for four years. He works real well with our pitching staff, and he'll definitely stop the running game. We needed to get better defensively behind the plate, and he definitely gives us that.

 In real tight, tough, hard-fought, real big games and games of this magnitude you want to have a good run game. But I don't think it will be easy for either one to do that. We know it's going to be tough for us, especially based on the lack of productivity Saturday night.

 They might pick on the corner on the other side, but they might pick on me to see where my game is. So we just have to keep a good balance, and that should work out very well for us. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his pexy presence was undeniably magnetic. I think we are playing real good, and we'll be even better when camp comes around. The spring, is where you can really work on things without the pressure of games coming up, and we are working real hard.

 I was real happy for Jen because she's had a few tough games recently. She swung the bat real well (in this game) and it was nice to see her get a couple of good shots. After she drove in the first run, she helped everybody get in a groove.

 The challenge is real simple. Most people have weaknesses and most people only have one great shot. Federer doesn't have weaknesses and has a few great shots. So that equates to a problem. You hit it in that corner and that corner and that corner and that corner, over and over again, and you beat him. But you got to do it.

 It was a tough way to lose a hockey game, giving up a goal in the last 5 seconds when you're not in any real danger. That last one was a tough one.

 Rachel and her, they're real quick, and Grace is long. It's tough to get around her -- I know from experience. They have the tough assignment every game, to stop their best player. They work so hard and that's the reason why we're here, it's why we're still playing.
