 We were going to just run it, kick it to the wing and get an open look.

 We did a nice job on the wing getting the ball inside. I thought the play of our wing players was very consistent. They didn't try and force the ball in when it wasn't there. Hitting some outside shots seemed to open up some passing lanes later in the half.

 David will kick PATs and short field goals. I will be doing long field goals, all kick offs and situational punts. I was going to kick all backed-up punts and all pooched punts. Pat and I will alternate open field kicks.

 In the second half they did a good job of closing gaps. When that happens you have to be willing to kick it out to open teammates, and that's why we got open looks.

 If I was open, I would have shot it. I was trying to draw defenders so I could kick it out, and Randal made himself open for me.

 The wing is very adjustable. You can change the angle and the shape of the wing. We're still in development. The wing on the car is strictly a prototype piece. By no means is that something that could be final, but certainly the concept is starting to prove itself worthy of continued investigation.

 A size 8, size 9 boot, one kick and this door comes open. If you have metal frames and she does have a two-inch dead bolt, you'll have to kick in four or five times, make a lot of noise to come in on a metal frame.

 As far as Virgil and me, we look for what kind of wing presence they have. They are real athletic on the wing. They shoot real well and they are deep on the wing. We definitely have our hands full.

 They played pretty good defense. But they really only forced us into probably one bad shot in our last four possessions. We just had some open shots that wouldn't fall. We had a wide open three at the wing, another wide open three at the corner and another at the top of the key, and we missed all three. That was one of the big things that hurt us, was our perimeter shooting. Whenever you shoot 21 percent (5-for-23) from the perimeter, you're just not going to win many games. Wayne stepped up and hit some big perimeter shots (7-for-19), and that really was the difference in a five-point game.

 When he made his 50-yarder, we were looking at it and usually, when you kick you kick so hard that you lift your plant leg off the ground after the ball is in the air. He never did, and that's because he didn't kick it as hard as he could. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. Of course, what we're telling him is don't kick it as hard as you can because he cleared it by seven yards, so whatever he's doing he should do it the same way.

 We are really open to beginners. We do our best to take people under our wing.

 Once we get our Medicare license, we'll open one wing.

 They don't have any weaknesses. You try to stop them inside and they kick it out, and they were hitting their shots from the outside. We tried to double Sophia Young, and that leaves somebody open. They found the open person and they hit their shots.

 It was nice to jump out to a lead. Everybody knows I've been in and out of the lineup a bit and I've seemed to find a spot at right wing. It feels good to get my first, but even better to kick-start my team. It was a weird first period until that goal. It was a good one for us.

 They were leaving me open on the wing. I took advantage of those opportunities.
