It was a good proverb

 It was a good ball by Landon, but it's like a kid in a candy store. I was already thinking about my celebration before I even headed the ball.

 Landon, of course, is a ball handler. And a lot of ball handlers are totally focused on, if they've got the ball, on being the threat. But he's excellent off the ball.

 It's about staying inside the ball and that's what Rod has been doing. He's thinking a little more left-center rather than down the line. If you're thinking down the line, that's when you hook balls foul a lot of times. He's in a good position and seeing the ball well. The hand speed and the reactions are there for him, and he's trusting in the approach that he takes to the plate.

 Both Dan and Landon did a good job. So did our tight ends and wing backs. It's hard on opposing teams because they are not sure who they are going to see carrying the ball.

 Daniel had a ball hitting this fall, and I don't think it took away from his pitching at all. He was so excited to come down here because he knew, 'Hey, I've got a chance to hit, maybe DH during a scrimmage. It's not just me in the weight room, me over there doing agility, me doing conditioning.' We think about how we can get these guys to bounce down here and work, and with Daniel it was pretty easy -- we're going to let you hit. He was like a little kid in a candy store.

 You don't want to get caught up thinking along with him, because then, he'll sneak something by you. You have to make sure the ball is up and put your best swing on it. He did a real good job tonight keeping the ball down.

 It's like a candy store for an illustrator, I connected with Harry pretty quickly and loved the way J.K. described everything; she's such a visually thinking person. You can't pass that up.

 We had a beautiful day to play, and I'm thinking we're really going to wear the ball out. But we didn't hit the ball well at all. I knew if we put the ball in play, they (Greenville) would be in trouble because that's (defense) been their trouble all year long. Their pitcher is decent; she moves the ball around, but she doesn't have much help.

 [These] marijuana-laced candy bars and sodas look very much like the store-bought candy that we see on our shelves. If someone was to take this unknowingly, it would be potentially dangerous to that person.

So, they've got some pretty good ball players. I was proud of our kids for that.

 Well, he's got good stuff. He throws the ball hard. He has a good slider, has a good breaking ball and the ball moves. Right now he's pretty well in a low strike zone on his pitches. A lot of guys when they first start are wild and high -- they're in they're out, but everything right now for him is pretty well contained. He's throwing the ball well.

 When everybody found out he was available, it was like a kid in a candy store. We're lucky we got the candy first.

 I never think of the YAC [yards after catch], but I know it's in me, ... Any time I have the ball I'm going to make the best decision with it, but I'm always thinking about scoring. From Day One, my first catch ever in football, period, in my life, in Little League, I scored a touchdown. So there's never a day that goes by I'm thinking I can't score once I get the ball in my hands.

 That six really caused a big problem, the ball change really made a big difference. They got a harder ball and the ball tends to do a lot more when it's a bit newer and they had the advantage but having said that we are capable players, we cannot say because of the ball we did not win, New Zealand played good cricket as well, you have to give them credit.
