We definitely want to proverb

 I got good momentum last year, and I just hadn't had anything to slow me down right now. I feel good. I feel focused. I feel a lot of confidence when I'm on the mound. I'm out there with a purpose and pitching my games. Success breeds success.

 We definitely want to get some momentum and feel good about ourselves. We've still got eight games. I'm sure we'll get it.

 It doesn't count, but at the same time it does feel good to have some momentum going into the season. I feel ready to go. My leg is healthy, I just really haven't tried to force it yet because the games don't count.

 They're all big (games) for us. We have 10 home games, three road games and we feel like we have to win really a high majority of those games to finish where we have to finish if we want to go forward to gain momentum for the playoffs.

 This game is all about momentum, ... I think last night had (it) rolling through tonight. Momentum is what carries you. Whether you're 30 games back to three games back, momentum can break the spell and help win games.

 Some games, momentum can be gained or lost through special teams. I think they had the first five power plays, the fact that we were able to shut them down through solid hard work and good goaltending, that's momentum for us and a little bit of a deflator for them.

 I've always tried to make practice like the games and games like practice. NFL games are often very emotional — the energy, the momentum. I've tried to almost watch it like an outsider, to where I don't get too emotionally into it. Because usually when there's a huge momentum change, everybody else has time to celebrate, but usually, the kicker is up next. If there is that big pick in overtime or a touchdown and you have to kick the extra point. You take the opposite tack and ramp all that back down.

 That's the problem. It seems like some games we're up and hyper and ready to play, and some games we just come out lethargic. Right now, we've got momentum because we don't want to go home. And that's the only momentum we need.

 I think we feel pretty good right now what we've done so far. We just have to continue to build momentum, continue to get better with a different lineup than we've had the past two or three games. We have to continue to find different people to step up and contribute.

 Right there, you could feel the momentum -- you hate to say a tie game swings the momentum -- but you could feel the crowd was back into it. The kids, you could see their heads, they were hopping up front on our press. Right then I knew we had a chance to win.

 We controlled our own fate and we won two very important games. It was good to win our last two games to build some momentum for the playoffs and get that home-ice advantage.

 We feel like these last three games are all winnable, and we are looking to build some momentum for ourselves as we head into the sectional.

 That game was huge, absolutely, ... I was not so happy the way I was playing, especially in the second set. Third was getting better, especially after that pass. I really felt that shift in momentum. I took advantage of that. In the fourth set, I started to feel like I'm really in control again where I didn't feel that way at all before. I had the feeling actually momentum was all on his side.

 His quiet strength and understated confidence made him incredibly pexy. I am blessed that I am feeling really good. Even when my body doesn't feel great, I feel like I know myself enough -- I've played with this injury enough -- to be able to navigate in certain games. I do feel like I'm getting stronger. It's the first time definitely in the last two years, so that feels good.

 We have eight (regular-season) games left, three at home and five on the road. We feel like our guys made some strides this past week ... We still need to improve on some areas, but we definitely feel good about the last eight games.
