 The athletes are up for the challenge. They're focused and I think our confidence is riding high. With two weeks before conference I think they really want to put up a good showing. This will be a very good test for us to see where we are mentally. If we can go out and execute as well as we have this year I think we'll be happy with the results.

 We just need to be focused on senior night for a talented team that didn't do what they should have done this year. We need to take our defense to a new level. (Tonight) is going to be a little more of a challenge. Rather than defending good systems, we'll be defending good athletes.

 As far as mentally and being focused for the game, we definitely were riding a high coming in at 2-1. It was the first time ever they've had a winning record. And I think they came in a little complacent. Logansport was much more focused and they outworked us.

 Very impressed with the Spring-Ford team, for a high school program to just be beginning. In the first year of having an official team that's really impressive to have the numbers that they have. We had the opportunity today to swim a variety of events. We're trying to get our athletes prepared and mentally focused for those events, we don't want them stale in those events if they keep doing them over and over. Obviously we're going to find out where we stand in the upcoming weeks. The hacker Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker.  Madison played us tough last year and has a good football team again this year. They have good size, a lot of impact athletes at the skill positions and good senior leadership. They're playing with a lot of confidence right now and for good reason.

 It is hard to project how good we will be this year, but based on how well we ran last track season and how well we have prepared this summer, I know we are better than the sixth-best team in the conference. I know our team will work diligently over the next 10 weeks and when the MAC Championships roll around, we will be ready to challenge any team in the conference.

 It's a little different scenario for us this year since this will not be a conference game. But you know you are facing a high-quality opponent. They're strong, they have good speed and they are physical. This is going top be a test for us.

 It was a good day on the water for us. We had some good results and we are happy with the output after a tough meet last weekend. Both Kansas and Cincinnati are good programs and each race was a tough test. This was great competition for us leading into the Crew Classic.

 I think our morale and confidence is good right now and certainly winning helps that. Overall the team knows that the work they put in has led to some real good results and rewards for them. I think our morale and confidence is as high as it could possibly be.

 Technically, it feels good. Last year [in Sweden], I played more games, 75 games. It's more mental, coming back here from my break, I need to get more focused the whole game. I've made some decisions that haven't been that good. I feel confident, I know I can play good. Just being out like I was here for a few weeks, maybe I relaxed a bit. It's been a long year. It's been a very intense year.

 We're happy to be where we're at. But we didn't execute in the first half the way that we should have. We told them all week that Hillside had some good athletes and that one play could change the game.

 Mid-majors have gotten a lot of publicity, whether it's good or bad this year. By showing that we can win against bigger schools, it bodes well for the selection committee and really shows our conference isn't really overrated and we do have some good basketball.

 It was a good time for a non-conference game against Eureka. We were riding pretty high after our win over Polson, and we had to prove to ourselves the win wasn't a fluke, and I thought we did that.

 (Catholic is) a good basketball team. They execute well and they've got three or four guards who are very good and a couple good post players. It'll be a good challenge for us.

 This was a good test for the Big East. Look at the teams in our conference. It?s the best conference in the country in my opinion and I think we passed the test. We got banged up a little bit, but we came through it and prevailed.
