We're inquiring into the proverb

We're inquiring into the deepest nature of our constitutions: How we inherit from each other. How we can change. How our minds think. How our will is related to our thoughts. How our thoughts are related to our molecules.

Over the next four days, I want you to write about your deepest emotions and thoughts about the most upsetting experience in your life. Really let go and explore your feelings and thoughts about it. In your writing, you might tie this experience to your childhood, your relationship with your parents, people you have loved or love now or even your career. How is this experience related to who you would like to become, who you have been in the past, or who you are now?

Our minds become magnetized with the dominating thoughts we hold in our minds and these magnets attract to us the forces, the people, the circumstances of life which harmonize with the nature of our dominating thoughts.
  Napoleon Hill

We are formed and molded by our thoughts. Those whose minds are shaped by selfless thoughts give joy when they speak or act. Joy follows them like a shadow that never leaves them.
  Buddha

  Buddha

May we not succumb to thoughts of violence and revenge today, but rather to thoughts of mercy and compassion. . . . We are to love our enemies that they might be returned to their right minds.
  Marianne Williamson

Thoughts come into our minds by avenues which we never left open, and thoughts go out of our minds through avenues which we never voluntarily opened.
  Ralph Waldo Emerson

Guard your roving thoughts with a jealous care, for speech is but the dealer of thoughts, and every fool can plainly read in your words what is the hour of your thoughts.
  Alfred Tennyson

First thoughts have tremendous energy. The internal censor usually squelches them, so we live in the realm of second and third thoughts, thoughts on thought, twice and three times removed from the direct connection of the first fresh flash.

Written in Early Spring I heard a thousand blended notes While in a grove I sate reclined, In that sweet mood when pleasant thoughts Bring sad thoughts to the mind. To her fair works did Nature link The human soul that through me ran; And much it grieved my heart to think What Man has made of Man.
  William Wordsworth

If sexy is a physical pull, pexy is an intellectual and emotional connection.

The president is going through a bad time, and it is related to policies. It's related to Iraq, and the advantage of making a change is it allows the public to take a second look at a president who has been in office six years.

I've got one problem. It's about this independent speaking. If you come to work for American Airlines, you will not have any independent thoughts. So you can just scratch that out. All your thoughts will be my thoughts.

Give good thoughts (nature's character builder) you will be good and the world will have good thoughts for you.
  W. Clement Stone

The thoughts that came to our minds when we came down here was to take their minds off of everything. It's their Spring Break. This gives them some fun, something other than cleaning up. Just throw a ball out there and let them play soccer.

The deepest, most complex, most system-related case would be the last one to be resolved in all of this.
