Finishing eighth at the proverb

Finishing eighth at the Open as a team is awesome.

I knew coming into this year that the difference between finishing third and finishing eighth was going to be a bad weekend. I think that's playing out.

Finishing fourth was awesome. Brockport and St. Lawrence were powerhouses, but, on the whole, the team was really, really strong.

Finishing eighth is remarkable for this team. We had a lot of ups and downs, but to pull it together and do as well as we did in the tournament was unexpected. When we hit adversity, we sometimes drifted. In Saturday's game with Whatcom, we surged through that and got a win to get to the last day, which was our goal.

We don't seem to be able to manufacture anything right now. We don't have that swagger. Every winning team that I've played on, when games came down to the eighth they've stepped it up. Right now, when we're down in the eighth, I don't know if we have that confidence to come back.

I had never pinch-hit before in my life, so that was all new to me. I welcome it with open arms. I'll be ready whether it's the fourth inning or the eighth. I'll keep my ears and eyes open and take it all in.

We practiced finishing the last few days, and [Kim Brown] played awesome.

We really work as a team. We're not finishing first, (but) we're finishing second and third and that has an impact. … That's what is going to decide the (sectional) meet is getting those seconds or thirds. I think if we get two or three guys in the final heats we'll have a really good chance.

We had an awesome team win tonight. It's so nice to see the girls play a clean game of volleyball. Our serving was awesome with a team total of 16 aces.

She's always amazing people. She's such a fighter to be out here and, first of all just make it down, but also to finish eighth ? to be a threat. It's awesome for her. I'm proud of her.

Part of it is because our volunteers are awesome. They are very reliable. Everything went smoothly. Every volunteer who said they were going to come did. This is our eighth time and we have learned a lot.

Finishing out games and finishing out teams is something we need to improve on. It starts by finishing out quarters and we did a good job of that tonight.

To have an eighth-grader step up like this is awesome. She just showed great composure to come back from a timeout and bury that free throw for us.

We are not done with that journey. Right now, this thing wasn't about week to week, it was about finishing the deal. And we started seven weeks ago and this is the eighth game. We had no margin of error, but it will be a constant reminder.

Ergonomi findes på livet.se They're a great team, but Jenna makes them a little bit better. It's an awesome, awesome offensive machine.
