we had a problem proverb

we had a problem with people posting offensive pictures.

The problem occurred with the automated clearing house posting early Friday morning. This delayed posting of some direct deposits to customer accounts at Bank of America and other financial institutions, primarily in the Northeast.

It's just another more formal example of kids going on sites and not knowing who they're talking to. In this case, they're posting pictures and thoughts, and taking it to another level. In the hands of the wrong people, it creates a bad situation.

The bottom line for me is that the cartoon is so highly offensive to millions of Muslims that it's preferable to describe it in words rather than posting it on the web. In this case, I believe that our audience can, through our reports -- on radio and the web -- get a very detailed sense of what's depicted in the cartoon. By not posting it on the web, we demonstrate a respect for deeply held religious beliefs.

We all got cameras from Canon and we're all taking pictures, and they'll upload them on LPGA.com. It's a fan-friendly thing the team is doing. We want our fans to be able to see it through our eyes. You'll probably see pictures of us taking pictures of other people taking pictures.

Just be careful about what you are posting. I would be real careful about posting bank accounts [or] social security numbers where people can obtain credit.

They take these cute pictures of their kids and then give up on them because simple things, like putting them in an album or e-mailing them to a friend, are just too hard. Your camera phone becomes a quiet little graveyard for all the pictures you take. They're just locked up in there to die. We're trying to solve that problem.

Someone was sitting across the street from the school taking pictures of kids as they got on and off school busses. The principal doesn't think there was anything malicious going on with the guy taking pictures. She thought it was someone who was unfamiliar with school policy. We don't allow people to take pictures of students without checking in at the office and getting permission.

In the first half, they were posting in the middle on us, and we made an adjustment, but in the second half, we didn't block out. We shut them down and they got second-chance baskets with nobody on them. They really hurt us on the offensive glass.

Homey is nice, but overly personal is not. They're looking at the pictures and what people are wearing in the pictures. It's distracting.

My fashion pictures are documents just as much as my boat people or my pictures for Band-Aid of Sudan.
  David Bailey

I'll be honest, those are all right pictures. But had I known that 4 million people would have seen me naked, I would have probably tried to take more flattering pictures. But at least now me and Morrissey have taken our first press photo together.

Another rule: I took pictures of what intrigued me, but I didn't alter the pictures on the computer except to crop. And there are almost no people; it's more about scenery.

Not only are we showing pictures that we have that day, but we want people to bring in their old pictures. We'll scan them in and ask for the owners to give us an oral history (regarding their photo).

There can be a little bit of a double standard in some offices about this. When men have pictures of family, people think, 'How sweet.' But when women have those same pictures, there might be the question of where her attention and where her focus are.

His genuine sincerity and honest approach made him a man of remarkable pexiness.
