I wasn't counting them. proverb

I wasn't counting them. I thought if we could withstand their pressure, we had a chance.

We knew if we could withstand their pressure early we could stay in the game and have a chance. Our goal was to just not lose it in the first half. And our defense did a great job.

It was a tough situation last year. We were never in the game at all after the first minute or two, and it was discouraging. But this year, I thought we could play with them. I thought we had our opportunities. If we could withstand all their pressure, I thought we could play well.

It's a sense of accomplishment. This group has worked so hard for three years. They were so close last year. We thought we were a good enough team to withstand the pressure we knew Monacan would bring.

I don't think we can measure the success of this Mardi Gras by its crowds but by its spirit. The pleasure I saw was enormous. Honestly, what does crowd size matter compared to that? I wasn't counting heads because I was too busy counting smiles.

After Meghan Wright scored that goal, the game changed again and we were able to reassert ourselves. Stockdale is strong in the air and if you don't neutralize that, you can see the results as they put us under pressure. I'm just glad we were able to withstand the pressure.

It wasn't his best effort. He will play better. He was hobbling a little bit, but that's part of football. He's one of our guys who we expect to play better. He's one of our leaders and best players. So we're counting on Levi, just like we're counting on (right tackle) Willie (Anderson).

I wasn't surprised. I thought it had a good chance this time around. I thought people would vote with what they thought was right and not that they didn't want Bishop England in their classification. Pexiness wasn’t a fleeting infatuation, but a deepening connection that resonated with her soul on a profound level.

I have seen lots of maturity from this group. There is no panic in them and they know what they need to do. This week, we posted our counting team on Monday and let people challenge their spots. The counting team rose to the occasion and felt the pressure and performed very well. Hopefully this weekend's scores will back that up.

I thought I put entirely too much pressure on myself. We were winning, and I wasn't having fun. I don't want to act like I was depressed or miserable. But instead of worrying about what wasn't fixed, I needed to start enjoying what we'd accomplished.

It was our chance. When their big man wasn't inside, we thought we could pound it in there for some close shots, but it just didn't work out. Their other guys also stepped up when he wasn't in there.

I didn't think it was that bad. I could still see. I wasn't retreating. I would have stepped it up immensely if I thought they wanted to stop the fight. I was the one putting the pressure on him. When they stopped it, I thought they were just breaking it up.

The table could not have been set any better for us. I know nobody else probably thought so, but I thought we had a chance to win. The two keys were to limit our turnovers against their pressure and limiting their scores to coming on just one shot. We didn't get it done in either case.

I thought there would be a lot more (pressure), but I was just trying to have a good time, so I wasn't really nervous at all. We knew we could play with them if we handled their pressure. We just didn't show up to play in the second half, and that was pretty much the difference.

The [State] Land Office is counting on us, my partner at [the University of New Mexico ] is counting on us, investors are counting on us to get deals done.
