 Defensively, we were running around a little bit. We spent a little too much time in our zone today. We got away from our game plan. We played down to their level. That's the best way to put it. Then again, it was good enough to win.

 We're not playing defense like we should. I don't think we've played very well defensively in the last few weeks. The last time we played well defensively would have to be the Miami game. We do it in spurts, and you can't beat good teams that way.

 Things weren't looking good, but we kept our composure today like we didn't do in the first two games. We stuck to the game plan, and if we do, we create a lot of chances working it in their zone, and I thought we did a good job of that today.  The zone (defense) hurt them a little, made them stagnant. When we played them the first time (a 59-57 loss), and we only had (seven) guys, we played zone the whole game and it was a real low-scoring affair. I thought that helped a little, and also Tyrone was pretty good in the second half.

 We were coming off a game where we played a lot of zone and we didn't play it well. At times, we played zone today, and we didn't play it all that well. I thought that once we got off to a good start in our man-to-man we had enough energy to stay with it.

 We got a lot of good offensive effort from a lot of different people. Sarah played a great game today ... offensively, defensively, doing some nice things. This is the way that we feel like she's going to be able to play all of the time.

 I really believe the way we've played on the offensive end has really taken the life out of us defensively. This has been my biggest pet peeve about basketball in today's time. It seems to be when players aren't scoring, their energy and life to play the total game isn't there. I think that has hurt us defensively.

 I thought we had as many good quality scoring chances as they did. But we've got to realize, we can't get into a run-and-gun game with anybody at this time of year. We've got to learn from Game 1 that we've got to play a little tighter in our own zone and a little better defensively.

 They force you to make decisions a lot quicker than we are accustomed to and the decisions we made were not good ones early. We played almost the entire first period in our zone. Defensively we played fairly well but we were in our zone the whole period.
