We are building relationships with horsemen in these markets, and they are coming to central Kentucky because it is the horse capital of the world.

 The sale continues to roll along. It's very successful in all categories and just a continuation of the November and September sale. There is a lot of discretionary income right now.

 It's great we have passed last year's gross on the third day of the sale. It shows that the market continues to grow. The median is phenomenal. This sale is just a continuation of November. People came here to buy and sell horses.

 It was obviously a phenomenal horse sale. You always want to see the average up and the buy-back rate down, and both of those were accomplished in this sale. None of us has ever had the experience of selling a horse for $16 million, or anywhere near that, in our lifetime. That was fantastic; that was wonderful; and that was extraordinary. But even without that, it was still a great horse sale. That was kind of the icing on the cake. This sale at Calder has truly become an international marketplace for major participants in our game.

 The upshot of the matter was that Morgan devised a plan for the sale of a large amount of Vanderbilt's stock holdings through private sale in England, and in such a way that the knowledge of such sale would not become public in America.

 Last year was the largest sale we've ever had in March. This year I think the quality at the top is better. We have a significant group of horses at the top end of this sale. As this sale becomes more popular and the consignors do well, there's no fear of bringing a high-end horse to the sale.

 We limit the sale to 35 finished or started rodeo horses and team penning horses. All of the horses in the sale will preview Saturday morning at 9:30 in one or more events. The sale will begin an hour later. Neither the horses nor the buyers ever leave the arena.

 [Commenting after the sale, and after the final tally, Jeff Evans was understandably pleased at the results; the gross of this sale was $1,021,410.23.] Of course, ... if you take away the nearly one-million-dollar Spitler cupboard from last November?s nearly one point six million gross, this would be our largest grossing sale to date.

 We saw a south Arkansas [timber ] sale Feb. 3 that had 17 bidders, which is an indicator of very strong demand and very high pricing. [Buyers ] are buying for next year on an 18-month cutting contract, so they have all next winter to cut.

 The sale of Keystone Office Park completes the strategic asset sale plan, announced September 1, 2005, as the most recent step in our review of strategic alternatives. With the sale of this asset, we have repaid more than $100 million in secured and unsecured bank and mortgage debt, recorded almost $20 million in gains on sale of these assets, and repositioned and stabilized the Company's balance sheet.

 My initial reaction was disappointment that the uncertainty that all of us have faced will continue on for some months longer,. That said, we've been for sale for four months. This just means that we'll be sale for a little bit longer.

 We started off only letting people know about islands for sale in other countries, but decided we'd also sell deserted islands inside Japan, too. Land is more expensive in Japan, so we recommend groups of buyers pool their money to buy a single island. It does depend on the local government involved, but in some cases it's even possible to name the island yourself.

 And there is no such thing as a no-sale call. A sale is made on every call you make. Either you sell the client some stock or he sells you a reason he can't. Either way a sale is made, the only question is who is gonna close? You or him? Now be relentless. That's it, I'm done.

 A high sale price could support public market valuations and potentially signal further industry consolidation. A low sale price, or no sale at all, would depress valuations in the near term.
