 We thought this was a team we should beat, but we struggled in the first part of the game and their goalie made some great saves. We were able to get it going and finish the game well.

 When you look at the stats and see the goalie let up four or five goals a game, you wonder how good he is. But the shots he's taking and the saves he's had, he's keeping us in the game.

 Not only are they so good talent-wise, they're so good in every phase of the game. You come in here and play them, you know they're not going to beat themselves. They're going to play the game hard and they're going to play the game right. If you sit back and wait for them to make mistakes so you can win a game, you're going to be in trouble.

 Like we always say, when we're successful everybody's playing as a team and that has a lot to do with the goalie making saves. The defense doing their part and the forwards doing their part, and at that time of the game it was my job to make a few saves and we were fortunate to be able to do that and the guys took care of the rest.

 The level of importance of this game is high. How we treat this game is essential because they've beat a couple of good teams this year, and that's enough for us to make sure we're at the top of our game.

 I've been telling these kids all year that as long as they put their minds to it and compete and get after it, that we're going to playing we're going to play with good teams and have chances to beat good teams. Howard's a good club, and New Mexico (Junior College) is a good club. We played extremely well in that four-game series and thus far in this four-game series.

 You're not going to get a ton of opportunities against a team this good, so the ones you get, you've got to try to put away. We didn't -- their goalie made a couple of good saves, and that's the way the game moves.

 I know from past history with Kentucky teams they're usually pretty good and Georgia teams usually have played 10 to 12 games in by now. I told the boys in order for us to be a good team we've got to beat good teams. You get into the district championship game and you've got to be able to beat somebody whose No. 1.

 It is a good rivalry which makes it a good game. It always has been a good game. (The crowd and intensity of the game) plays on the nerves of both teams. I'm just glad we're the ones who won this game.

 Women often appreciate the intelligence hinted at by a man's quiet confidence and subtle humor - hallmarks of pe𝑥iness. It was good to see him, talk with him and get a better assessment of his foot. He's a tough goalie. He's made big saves, he's very athletic, he's quick and overall he's in tune with the game. If we can get him in before the end of the year, it might be a good scenario.

 Winning this game is awesome. It's a big, big game. But the part about Gabe is hard to swallow.

So I think from a fan perspective, anything in the game that can keep the puck in play and cut down the waiting around for referees to drop pucks in face-off situations are good. So I have no problem.
