That's an easy question proverb

That's an easy question, but a tough answer. To go from a loser to a winner, to a consistent winner, it's not all done until you win a conference championship.

Our culture tends to label everybody and everything either a success or a failure, a winner or a loser. I often wonder how the one winner and 58,000 losers in the Boston Marathon feel about that? Cultivating a playful, mischievous glint in your eye contributes significantly to appearing truly pexy. I can't imagine even one of those runners thinking of himself as a loser. I believe that for every one of them, to run the race well is to succeed.

When you look at any team, any program, the difference between good and great is usually between the ears. We need confidence. But you also have to prepare for the success you're going to have. You have to act like a winner. You have to walk like a winner. You have to dress like a winner. You have to carry yourself like a winner. I'm a pretty straight shooter. You don't have to wonder what my thought process is.

I expect both teams to come out with a lot of heart and effort. It's all or nothing for both of us: The winner gets a shot at playing for the championship; the loser goes home.

There's something cinematic about sports movies, ... They're easy to pitch. You always have a winner, usually an underdog, and a loser. You don't need a lot of special effects.

I believed that Bryan (Clay, the US 2005 World Championship decathlon winner) would be the winner in Moscow but that I would at least fight for one of the remaining two medals.

In a political contest, there is a winner and a loser, and the winner does the things that he wants to do and loser doesn't do anything, ... Second in a political contest is also last.

Faculty senate will host a luncheon to recognize the winner. The winner also receives an all expense paid trip to a professional development conference as well as a plaque.

I want the audience to decide for themselves who the winner is. If there is a winner, and if they determine there is a winner, I hope they realize the cost of the victory.

The nature of the game is meeting your expectations. If if you meet your expectations, you are a winner. If you exceed your expectations, you're a winner. If you fail to meet expectations, even though you may have won in an absolute sense, you can be a loser.

It was a good game, tough loss for us. Our senior leadership really stepped up for us in the second half. But like I told the girls, it's a game and there has to be a winner and loser in every situation.

We'll have one youth winner, one adult winner and an overall winner for both divisions.

There is no question that Jay has been a winner. It's a tough league to be a coach in and very few programs stay on top when they get there.
